I have this theory that someone is trying to distract people from GME by telling them to focus on new shit at this point even though GME situation hasn't even unfolded yet
>on reddit there's absolute flood of "BUY AMC" tier threads made by accounts on the same day, with no real activity on the site
>a lot of redditors are complaining about 'bot spam', refering to this
>the GME discussion threads are also flooded with this crap
redditors got threads on the front page suggesting for karma limit for posting because of this, allowing either accounts that are old to post or allowing accounts with more than a certain amount of karma to post
>why would they want to get you to a new thing
to scatter everyone which would reduce pressure on GME
