After hearing about how massively overleveraged Silver is on paper, I want to get in. however I have no idea where or how to buy physical precious metals, or what the best way is.

Thanks for any advice.

>> No.26780297

The Focus on the Chinese and Russian gold hoards is primarily due to their size. Both nations have a large PM mining sector and their governments buy up a large portion of what comes out of the ground. India has a ton of gold, but mostly in the hands of its population rather the government, and Brazil is open to being paid in gold or gold equivalents in trade for its food exports.

The most the US can hope to do is force some semi-equitable ratio between their silver peg and the BRICS gold peg. The US can definitely win a war with China, but they're just going to wait for them to start it. All the bluster about 'muh russia' is just talk. They spent the last decade using their declining man power to stake out their territory and are digging in, hoping that between their nukes, their grain production, their mines, and their gas they can ride out demographic twilight.

We're moving to a multipolar world again, and while the US is still the biggest stick, its going to mostly swing it at the new world to keep it in line. Invest in US petrochemical companies with patents and plans for using methane as a polymer feed stock once you make it with your PM gains.

Personally, if you're looking to get a stack quick and easily, and you already bank with TD then buying through their precious metals department is a no brainer. You can get a better deal if you really look, but its tough right now with all the covid bs and market hysteria. The thought is that people taking 30 million ounces of silver off the market in the span of a month should be enough to create a price disparity between physical and paper that anyone who can ask for delivery of SLV contracts will. Since they won't have enough ounces to fill all those deliveries they'll either default or weasel their way out of it with more rules changes.

Naturally 1oz Silver is uniroincally a better position than most of the population; but if you're being realisitic, then the above is roughly what you'd need until shit recovers in a Bosnian-War-Style crash (ie overnight w/ no end in sight)

I like them, consistently good design and I personally don't mind 72% Silver. Mexico actually used 72% Silver so much it gained the name "Mexican Silver".
The 10% and 30% Pesos tend to be mostly prices based on numismatic demand, so they aren't really the best to stack if you want to get silver close to spot.

That's not true. People have been shitting on Schiff for that quote but he's 100% right. Satoshis or bitcoin have no intrinsic difference, both can serve as a medium of exchange just the same regardless of what order of magnitude you are working with. An ounce of silver vs. a ton has way different levels of intrinsic value. You can't manufacture thousands of solar panels with 1 oz of silver.

Hard choice
You have some meme bullets for the ak74 but 7.62 should be more common here but not as ubiquitous as 9mm fuddyfive or 5.56

Imo ammo and bullion are both equally valuable and tradable post shtf. However your meme bullets are substitutable I'm that situation.

I guess pre shtf you have to decide which has more upside. Your friend is giving you a guaranteed 3x rn but who knows where silver will run

Up to you, though I'd say keep the Silver imo. If (from what it looks like) you're a burger, bullets should be as easy to get a hold of both in and out of a crash due to their natural abundance in burgertopia (and push comes to shove you can just switch to a more common ammo type like 9mm or whateverthefuck if shit goes to the unlikely scenario of Mad Max/ STALKER) - Silver less so abundant.
If you're a Yuro or in a bullet-scarce country, then I'd actually size the deal more bullet-ended if you need them; but push comes to shove:
- post economic-collapse scenario, Silver moons (or god pray, normalises) you'll make a neat little profit on it
- post societal-collaspe scenario, Silver is rarer than bullet, and as long as you have bullet to begin with, you don't need to concern yourself with getting shot up for it. Silver trades better, and retains value better throughout.

Any time /k/ommando.

I'm not even sure if you listened to the whole argument Schiff made, because he literally addresses this. Yes, the supply is fixed. Bitcoin is deflationary. But it is not scarce as long as 2 quadrillion satoshis is enough liquidity to sustain economic transactions. And since bitcoin maxis have given up on the original point of bitcoin and are now shilling that it's a "store of value," 2 quadrillion sats should be more than plenty. So no, it isn't scarce at all. Fixed supply and scarcity is not the same thing. Gold is actually inflationary but it is scarce.

I'm both legit spooped and excited.
I mean, it's one thing for plebbit to poke the kikes around and losing them a hundred billion or two. It get the heebs midly pissed, but it's fake money going into fake valuations, what piss them is more the goyim outjewing the jews than the 'money' lost.

But silver... Silver man... It's a whole another story. This shit is the sacred ground of the kikes, their chasse gardée. All this clownshow, this matrix of fakery we live in is only made possible thanks to fiat currencies. Real money is jews' worst nightmare, not more inflation tax, no more discret devaluation, no more illusion. Each time someone tempted to mess around with silver he either got shot or ruined.

And it goes beyond that. Few anons know this, only the ones well versed in history of theology and esoterism, but do you know why vampires and werewolves die to silver bullet?
When the synagogue of Satan got Jesus killed, the treason came from Judas, who was payed 30 silver shekels by the rabbis to betray Jesus. Judas couldn't bear his deed and decided to khs, throwing the silver at his feet out of shame. God then decided to put a curse on silver for the jews who would hold this metal, to remember them they killed his Son over greed, and that silver what the weapon who murdered Jesus.
Historically, in all european countries, vampires always represented the evil jews, with very stereotypical traits (hooked nose and claws, plan their deed in the dark, rich,..) and all the vampires physical anomalies come from a sickness only existing among jews : Tay sach, a form of porphyry, a genetic disease provoked by extreme interbreeding (very common among jews, especially the Levi and the Cohen, i.e the priest caste) which make the skin pale due to anemy, deteriorating teeth (end up pointy), skin allergy to the sun, etc.. And blood transfusion is one of the way to temporary cure the anemy (thus why vamps drink blood).
Oh, and it also provoke an alimentary allergy to.. garlic. 1/2

Now you know the esoteric parallel between the jew and the vampire, and the curse tying jews to silver (representing their greed) for eternity. Thus why silver only can metaphorically kill the kikes : by reappropriating real money, the goyim can free themselves from the jewish tyranny. It's a very important concept for you all to understand. Silver is their Achille heel.

Jesus warned us, Judas' story and his suicide was to show us the way to defeat the archonic jew.
So the kikes will do ANYTHING to keep silver away from the goyim. The whole demiurgic, satanic matrix they created is based on illusion of money, and gold & silver are the only way out this maze of lie.

If you buy and sell physical on the same day, yes you are gonna lose something like that. Let's say silver you can get $2/oz over spot and sell at spot, that's ~10% at the moment (ballpark figures). The downside is obviously liquidity, but the upside is that you physically get to hold something that actually exists instead of 100 people buying paper silver and laying claim to the same ounce. You are welcome fren, and now you understand why jewllywood is depicting vampires as glamorous, sexy, capable of love, selfless, courageous, (the perfect antithesis of the kike lol)... since they took over the film industry during the 70's. They were pissed that for centuries the most hated monster were vampires, and thought horror movies about vampires was giving them bad press. So they did everything to try to change their image for the goyim to now consider vampires as cool.

Look at all the series films about them : True blood, Angel, Vampire diaries, vampire heaven, Penny Dreadful, Dracula 1991, the Originals, Buffy, Lost Boys, Blade, Underworld... Vampires are always the badass-looking good guys but need to hide because the evil, bigoted humans (goyim) refuse to live with them (muh tolerance), so they hide in the shadows.

whatever is cheaper basically. if/when you go to sell your PMs to a local dealer, they will not care whether its a 1oz bar or a 1oz coin as long as its .999 pure silver

if you resell to an individual, some type of standardized coin is preferred, like an American Silver Eagle, Canadian Maple, a British sovereign - something with a state-backed mint behind it

i own both bars and coins and just buy whatever is the cheapest / on sale at the time

I'm trying to buy 10 shares at Frankfurt myself, just raised my bid to €13.83. When the American markets open I'll sell a miner I've been meaning to sell anyways and put some money to either the Canadian or the American First Majestic. Not much but the upside is too high to ignore, I'm capable of taking a -50% hit if it comes to that.

This is a different thread from that one unfortunately. This thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/l6novm/the_real_dd_on_slv_the_worlds_biggest_short/)) now has more upvotes and the OP is doing nothing but shilling SLV. And he even says "miners; I don’t recommend buying miners as part of this trade. Miners will absolutely go up if SLV goes up, but buying them doesn't create the squeeze in the actual silver market." (Liar, it kills the bankers who are shorting the miners.)

yes AG is one of the best silver miners. the downside risk with AG is that the stock gets pumped and then deflates back down to regular market price - which is still a fair price

the difference between AG versus GME and AMC is that First Majestic is a solid business regardless of any pumps or dumps. once this is all over GME and AMC are still in bad financial / business situations.... AG is set up to do just fine

>> No.26799914

>>26799797

Every single comment is in favour of SLV. People are either getting fooled or there are a lot of bots creating a false consensus. Seems that at least the word is getting out about AG though yes.

Gold and Silver are literally the only commodities on the planet where the futures contract determines the spot price. The futures contracts trade between algorithms of big bullion banks (that "hold" gold and silver for the contracts) with daily volume sometimes more than all the silver and gold that will be mined in a YEAR. They get away with this because they can move or slam the price at will and rely on other contract holders to settle in cash.
Long positions that are interested in the metal suck up what little inventory they actually have/want to use for delivery and that drives the futures price up. Paper trading contracts and then being responsible for metal you don't have exposes you to tremendous potential losses (what is going on with GME is illustrative of an extreme case).
The volumes of these contracts are too large for most people in /biz/. But buying silver or gold leads vendors to open more long contracts to get more metal. That in turn, also drives more longs from dealers who need them for industrial uses to hedge against potentially rising prices.
SLV is probably a paper silver ETF. Where they don't actually hold any of the SLV they claim. So squeezing them does nothing, they just print more paper or get more "agreements" on paper.

are you asking if its worth scrapping? I hold onto any copper I find (and pennies) bc I'm convinced it will go up in value (basically all electrics need that sweet Cu).

I am not buying scrap though, I'm sure there's money to be made there but its too much effort for me

I should really get exposure to Cu miners but I havent done enough research

If you are at all concerned about a stack being needed in a SHTF situation, I'd advise sifting pocket change for pre-82 pennies. If that time comes, I think our collective psychology will expect that level of division of real currency. Gold-silver-copper.
If you're talking about wires and pipes and shit? Best of luck, but that's a bit hardcore for me.

The original thread is back up but it's now competing with the other one. The OP of the original thread is obviously a real silver bull because he edited his post to say this:

"Edit 1: ALL IN ON $AG. LETS GET THE MINERS. Edit 2: PSLV might be the next thing, It holds physical silver. Starving the shorts out of the metal. Buy miners, buy physical, buy pslv. It will be in the history books if we make this happen. Disclaimer: This is not Financial advice. I am not a financial services professional. This is my personal opinion and speculation as an uneducated and uninformed person."

The other thread is clearly a shill thread.
