I think they'd actually have to demand delivery on the COMEX to make a real difference, as new paper contracts for SLV and GLD can more or less be created at will. That's my basic understanding. Regardless, if it worked even in the slightest, it would be the biggest signal that the masses are restless this century.

The point is to put money on ALLOCATED silver ETFs, because they will actually go out and buy the silver from the big bullion banks, which will force them to default and opening the entire can of worms.

Shorting SLV does absolutely nothing - but by forcing the ETFs to take delivery of real bullion, you essentially make the SLV implode. AND you now own some actual real silver in the process in the form of an allocated ETF.
