Anons, can anyone confirm? Supposedly silver has a 250000% short float.

WSB suggesting they start pumping SLV, which is a silver ETF. The entire investment proposition is that the paper silver market is leveraged 250x the physical, and they're saying it's a good idea to buy into the paper market. Is there something I'm missing, or is this completely backwards?

My driving instructor used to work as a floor trader, commodities, mostly precious metals. He said he decided to quit when he realized he was holding another trader out of a 12th story window over a couple basis points. Time to see if I still have his number.

If they buy paper Silver shares it won't make a dent on the hold that JPM & other banks have on the paper silver market. SLV is an unallocated ETF, meaning 1 share does not equal 1 ounce of silver.

What they need to do is buy into an actual allocated ETF - who will indeed be forced to buy the silver to cover for the extra orders from a physical bullion market like the COMEX.

With enough new money pouring into the system, they'll overload the physical market.
