All I can say for sure is looking at screenshots people post of robinhood it looks like an app for kids. I guess in a way that is the intent but if you wanna get serious about trading you need a real platform to see things like tick charts, advance/decline ratio, various levels moving averages, studies of all sorts of metrics and real market internals like the order que for everyone’s trades, depth and so on.

None of this will make sense to you probably but all I can say is keep reading stuff and watch videos but be careful. There are a lot of opinions floating around there and many strategies to do various things. The best advice I’d give someone starting out is trade smaller than you think you should and listen to your heart but don’t panic, try to keep emotions out of it. I know a guy names Tom soznoff started a company called tastytrade, last I checked they still have free videos on their site explaining strategies probabilities, market structure etc. he build his own trading platform I helped beta years ago but it was too simplified for my liking. I like to see everything.
