Or has it become practically impossible to effectively obfuscate crypto payments. The old way of opening a dummy account on a sketchy exchange that keeps funds centrally and sends them through its hot wallet instead of customer addresses seems to have disappeared.

Bitcoin fees.. I will probably just trade some of my shitcoins for xmr on binance, send it to a wallet and than privacy send it to another wallet and then to binance to trade it back to the shitcoin. Should in the end be cheaper then btc or exodus / atomic
