So after waiting hours to talk to an ETrade rep with no luck I did my own digging and found why they aren't adding sold stock to my buying power: it's apparently a "good faith violation" to buy a stock with available but unsettled funds and then sell again and so they just hold the cash for a few days. I don't think this ever happened to me with Robinhood and seems extremely boomery. I deposited the money, am good for it, and am buying and selling stock, I should have access to the proceeds, now I'm just getting cucked and they didn't alert me about it or anything I just have to sit here with my dick in my hands for 2 days.
