IDK why you would hedge for something like this if you're in physical metal, but you would just short stocks (medium brain), buy vix (big brain), or buy an iron condor (XL brain) so you make money on both fed turbo pump or fed turbo dump.

SIL and SILJ are both broad indices (ETF's) of silver mining companies. They allow you to purchase exposure to multiple mining companies instead of having to do diligence on and buy individual companies. SIL is comprised of the largest and "best" silver mining companies. The "household names", so to speak. SILJ is for junior silver miners, but this is a misnomer. These are still somewhat large-cap companies, just not as large-cap as SIL. They are not true juniors, but are smaller, and will be subject to both greater leverage (upward and downward) to the silver price, and thus will be more volatile. With SIL, you'll probably get less upward movement, but also less risk of downward movement. They'll be more "stable." With SILJ, you're taking on a little more volatility and a little more risk, for the chance at greater gains, compared to SIL. There is nothing wrong with buying some of both if you're unsure which to pick.
