I read about this in a Finnish newspaper like a week ago and the founder said he was dumbfounded about the size that it has swollen to and he hopes that people copy their model / code in order to further the field as a whole.

Bullish or bearish? I don't know but I did deposit a few eth there while fucking around with it to see what all this defi stuff is about.

extremely bullish. maybe not for $aave, but defi as an ecosystem. once the platforms get ux that npcs can understand, be prepared for massive dinero. all tradfi instruments are coming to crypto. eg cant wait for bond traders to discover crypto with guaranteed 10% yield on stablecoins with insurance. if people think $500m tvl is huge, give it some months. we're going to see trillions.

Bullish. Its the only DeFi with an E-banking license and about to expand services for normies across the UK.

Do you even understand where this yield is coming from? It will not last forever, and it will certainly not last if we get trillions tvl

But it will continue to beat Wall St ULTRA HIGH YIELD PREMIUM SAVINGS rates of 0.05-0.1%

Token has two main uses. One is governance, so by holding Aave tokens, you can vote on proposals, reforms etc. Another use is for a safety module, so if a black swan event takes place and Aave price plummets, Aave tokens will be slashed, saving the protocol from collapse (other DeFi's don't have a safety module like Aave)
