Medellin is probably my favorite "big city" that I've been to. The weather is literally perfect all year, it's dirt cheap, great food, a fun nightlife, easy access to any drug, you can buy dick pills, gear, or hgh over the counter for next to nothing, and there's plenty of outdoorsy shit you can do if you enjoy being in nature. It helps if you know Spanish, but they're generally pretty nice and if you make an attempt to speak Spanish, they're relatively patient. There isn't a lot of middle ground when it comes to girls. They can either be very attractive or nothing to write home about. Medellin however is known for having the most attractive women in Colombia and the Paisa accent on a girl is fucking sexy. Additionally, it's one of the only cities where guys were regularly dating girls that would traditionally be way out of his league. If you speak decent Spanish, are confident, and forward, you've got good odds of getting a date with a qt latina. Or you could just whoremaxx and get any kind of girl to do whatever you want for under $50-100. As far as safety goes, it's a pretty safe city. If you have an ounce of street smarts and avoid sketchy areas or people, you wont have an issue. You can get an investment residency or a retirement visa. Both are fairly easy and given it's low cost of living compared to the US and Europe.

So I've never been to Colombia but my old coworker was talking to me about retiring there because his wife is Colombian so there's some connection there and they've visited plenty of times. He's a big dude, not someone you would want to get into a bar fight with for sure, and he's Puerto Rican so he can speak Spanish but I'm not sure if they can tell you're not from there based on accents/slang. Anyway one day he told me decided he wasn't going to move there after hearing about something that happened to a rich expat down there. The guy was flying into the country with his wife and was wearing a nice watch. The only Latin American countries I'd consider are Uruguay (because it's 90% European) and as an absolute last resort Argentina. Chile from what I can tell is nice and civilized but mostly Amerindian. I'd prefer to be in the company of Europeans.

Also why don't you guys consider the Balkans? Albania or Croatia are nice. Albania is a lot cheaper, politically stable but there isn't a hook up culture. However, there is illegal prostitution with women furnished from Romania and Moldava and I imagine high end escorts if you know where to look. Most people speak English and Italian, and Albanian isn't too hard to learn. Would take you a year of serious study to be able to get by fine. Drugs are cheap especially weed.
