Decent people who've been on biz a while just don't want to see people falling for obvious scams. They've been around long enough to know how to spot red flags for the most elaborate of schemes. Any one with a will to make a quick profit can build a website, create a coin and some basic API functionality, create some personaliies, recycle memes, and spam the hell out of the board and reddit to the point where it is so overboard that it is obviously not organic. Also, some jannies on the board have access to see the IPs posting the spam.
