I don't think you understand much about tech, but if you look at the code in Github, you can tell it's a fork of Dash. There is a good reason why you don't see any new projects building on Dash or forks of Dash.

Worse, the devs are saying this network is going to be superior to Ethereum. That's outright deception. If you have 20k in this, my advice to you would be to diversify so you don't lose everything.

It's normal to try to justify your investments. I wouldn't invest in anything where you can't directly monitor the code and the performance of the developers. Not only can you see what they're doing, but you can also judge their performance against competitors.
