Programming takes YEARS in a specific FIELD to really be useful. There is a reason most programmers are anti social nerds with bad skin and terrible eyesight.

I spent years in one very niche industry reading documentation for hours a day and applying it to a niche project. My job is safe, no roastie or pajeet from a bootcamp is anywhere close to my level of competence in this one specific field. They could catch up if they sacrifice years of their lives, but I very much doubt many will want to if, and even less so will commit to that lifestyle.

Dont program, you could make the same money if not more investing the same amount of energy and time into other fields to be quite honest with you familia

government does it so they can tax you, more programmers means more jobs which means more money for the taxman.

schools does it so you can apply their shitty bootcamp and they take money from you.

social medias are usually to promote some shitty product or bootcamp too. giving them the dream that their job will be like a manchild workplace and cool shit (which is not real at all.)

this is the real thing you fags are trying to hide. the reason most programmers are antisocial nerds is because either you're retarded and genuinely enjoy the process of programming, or you're smart and you program 30 minutes a day while spending the rest of your time shitposting or jerking off to hentai
there is insane amounts of money to be made in programming simply because underneath the purposeful obsfucation, it's extremely simple shit. but the obsfucation is real, the software engineer culture is cancer (both san francisco soibois or muh linux geeks, if for different reasons; and yet they are shockingly similar, one just needs to see the number of trannies contributing to open source projects), there's basically nobody sane you can talk to or relate to in a work environment

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/certifications/exams/az-204
I've had several azure based jobs and they paid around 100k (AUD) or a bit more, but I worked my way up and taught myself and built up a portfolio, but i'm still looking to do a few certificates sometime. I'm not working at the moment, just making some crypto trading software for myself really. I program a lot though, sometimes like 80 hours/week if I'm really into a project, I've worked on several startups where I got scammed pretty much too (be very careful who you work with on projects). I'd say to do the cloud stuff you probably only need a year at maybe 20 hours/week and a basic certificate if you wanted to for entry level

seriously how hard could coding be? im seeing sheboons & foids land jobs at decent companies from just doing a bootcamp.

>> No.26437532

>>26437162
yeah why not.
all programmers have to work in groups anyways. you can get away with being akward, silent or maladjusted by being exceptional in programming but these kind of people are rare

the majority are not some kind of math genius quants that code their own bot from scratch outperforming god knows who, but this type of guys wont be seen on any campus out of different reasons.

most web dev is easy shit that anyone with midwit IQ and determination can learn. of course there's very challenging areas in webdev, like working back end web dev at a company like netflix/google/etc., or dealing with complex, clusterfucked front end shit like messenger at facebook.

so much this.
Pajeets and Chinks cheat so fucking much it's so blatant, even in person. Literally talking and exchanging material during the exam but the professors are so cucked they just allow it.

I am learning how to become a furniture repair technician
I plan on picking up wood furniture restoration as a hobby, and once I become comfortable, I can offer customers from my day job private fixes on pieces my job doesn't cover

The serious answer is that it's a meme, the context of which being the media recommending miners learn to code after clean energy makes their jobs obsolete. Then, like pottery, journalists started losing their jobs and 4chan didn't squander the opportunity to throw it back at them.

Could you elaborate on your path? This is my plan so far:
>set firm goals (remote job that pays at least the same as current position)
>get paid out for my vacation saved (2 weeks) & quit
>do my 1 day a week gig that gives me $1k income per month so my savings don’t get too hurt
>study/work 40+hrs a week, while focusing on skills I see on job listings & building functional projects
