Staking on secret network bridge starts Tuesday for RSR. Any other RSR holders gonna farm some SCRT and make some money with me? Everybody complains about RSR crabbing, now you can get some passive income farming, hold your RSR, and quit complaining. Don't have weak hands or you will regret it.

Secret Netwok is new and allows for the use of encypted private smart contracts. Do some research on it, is a great project. Here's a tutorial on how to turn your eth or erc-20s into secret tokens so you can start earning some SCRT. It is currently, as far as I know, the only way to stake your RSR. Take advantage of it. https://youtu.be/fTvKoshaWvM

is converting to secret tokens a taxable event?

>> No.26427940

>>26427617
There doesn't really seem to be much risk at all. You convert your RSR to secrerRSR and then starting tuesday you can start farming SCRT. You can unlock your secretRSR at anytime and convert back to RSR. There are fees so I guess you could lose money if you convert to secretRSR and want to convert your secretRSR back into RSR before you farm your rewards but that is just gas fees.

>>26427938
yeah of course if you live in the land of the unfree, in the first world it's not taxable

Not sure desu. I wouldn't think so, you're not buying or trading, you're just wrapping your RSR. I'm not worrying about it

I hold 1.5mm rsr and am just trying to help out other rsr holders. This shit crabs like crazy but it always goes up higher. If I see an opportunity to get some passive income staking this while I hold for the long term I am taking it.

What do you mean by "wrapping"? From what I understand, you swap your RSR for "secretRSR". Staking the same token I get. But who says that they don't rugpull?

This smells like someone trying to shill a coin by piggybacking on RSR. Not touching this, not swinging.

I'm honestly pretty new to Secret Network and just learned about it when the reserve team posted they locked 3mm RSR on the secret network bridge. But I believe it turns it into a snip-20. Maybe wrapping is the wrong word, I'm still learning about it as well.

I already swapped some rsr for secretrsr. Only cost around .01 eth yesterday. Not bad considering I'm sending a large amount of rsr. Farming rewards will more than make up for any fees

12$ fees for approx how much RSR? Got 150k myself and I'm not planning on selling for a long time anyway.

I sent 500k rsr yesterday, gonna send another 1mm either today or tomorrow. I'm not in a rush, farming starts Tuesday

Definitely will send some myself as well. Is there any staking calculator? Couldn't find anything on their website.

>> No.26433180

This is unlikely to bf a scam considering the reserve teams tweeted about locking in 3m rsr to it. I’ve kept my rsr in cold storage but am tempted to try and earn something with it.

They don't have the staking rates up for secretRSR yet. They take their snapshots on Tuesday and that is when it will be determined. Average APY is 20% on secret network bridge though. APY could be higher or lower, I can't say

>> No.26433549

>>26433421
Found this calculator on their discord. It's just for the current assets that are earning rewards right now. Like I said, RSR farming starts Tuesday though.
