Don't sell these stocks if you start losing money, just hold and they're appreciate again. I've done this time and time again. A stock I'm holding goes down 15%? Hold. Two or three weeks later I'm back to where I was and I'm not going to need to pay tax on any transactions because I didn't sell.
Read the book "Value Averaging" very good book. For any kind of investing.
Also another good thing to know, if you want to sell a stock where you have a net negative, there's something called a wash where you sell, and if you don't buy back into the same stock you just sold for thirty days, then you get a tax deduction for your loss. I'm not sure what % of it is tax deductible, might be full tax deductible loss. Robinhood automatically calculates it if you use Turbo tax. Really worth using Turbo tax on their by the way.
You'd want to do a wash if you lost a lot of money and you want a deduction from your income tax. If you buy back in before the 30 days is up, that's fun, just know you wont have that loss deductible. It's not a big deal unless you lost a ton of money I guess.

Blackline has huge potential in the next 5 years to go beyond that with a market cap of 7 billion (they provide tools that automate and digitize the financial sector, it will be huge in my analysis). Easily can ready 30 billion in the next 5 years. They had huge retention of customers last year too ~+90%)
