A simple trick to discern between a promising token that's likely to appreciate in value is this:

If you see countless number of FUD threads, its usually a good sign that they don't want you to buy in. 'They' being the ones who want to accumulate at cheap prices.

If a token gets repeated mentions on a continual basis while price increases steadily day after day, that's probably a clue for you to buy in.
