They haven't solved shit yet, It's still an ERC20 token. Empty promises until it isn't. Wait and see before you jump to any conclusions. If you're new to Radix, remember the "token" has been around for almost 8 years with no meaningful progress and only delays or failures. If this works out and actually launches, maybe it will be big, but take everything you hear from their team with a grain of salt at this point. Any project that's been around this long failing to gather meaningful interest or do anything useful makes me a little suspect.

I remember the founder of Radix on Bitcoin talk years ago, he was always a big brain schooling people on ideas. I was ready to invest in Radix some time back but as it kept getting delayed I didn't end up doing it. It frustrated me it took so long to finally get here but I know Dan would have done it for all the right reasons. The guy is a genius. I'm planning to buy some in a week so hopefully the price dips more so I get a nice big long term bag to make up for missing the pre-sale

Its too late. DOT and Avax might be flawed but they have actual working products launching on them
By the time Radix matures, Avax and Dot would be too dominant and decent enough that Radix won't be able to take market share from them

Too dominant? Was EOS too dominant for DOT to grow? No. How about XRP? No. I've been in crypto for near enough 10 years and I can tell you with absolute confidence market share means nothing. The top 10/50/100 coins will continue to change based on hype cycles but projects will remain at the top based on adoption of the network.
DOT has like 12k daily transactions on their network vs 50k ETH in 2017 and over 1M daily Tx for ETH today. I think DOT is floating on hype, maybe they do become successful and gain adoption but they are from from safe at the moment.

People could have said the same thing about Avax and Dot coming into Ethereum's market. But now as the ETH's limitations become clearer, these more advanced alternatives are taking off. I expect same process will happen with Radix, as the limitations of ETH, AVAX, and DOT manifest more and more.

I get your point but I think the composability thing might give radix an advantage. Dot, avax and Eth will be used for some apps but others will be built on radix. Then there's the all potential apps that haven't been built yet and were waiting for something like radix to come along.

I know some people don't like it but I prefer price vested locking to other types of locking because the coins slowly get released and only whe the price goes up. Radix isn't the only coin with locked tokens though a lot of similar projects have locked tokens too

It's true most projects just dump millions of tokens on some random day like 12 months after launch. I think Avalnche is an example, literally tens of millions of tokens going to be released this year
