This should help sort the high IQ's from the low IQ's.

https://www.circle.com/en/usdc

>'Trust & transparency
Every month, the US dollar reserves for USDC are attested to by top 5 accounting services firm, Grant Thornton LLP. We publish those reports so that you can be confident that USDC is always 100% redeemable for dollars.'

From Assblaster:
'US OCC giving the green flag for banks to start using stablecoins.
100% of efforts will now go towards the Circle integration with USDC.
Goal is to launch Q3.
Smarter functionalities and proof of reserves are aiming to ship Q4.'

Do you see?

I don't get it some app is going to integrate a stable coin and verify they hold reserves? Cool but circle is a KYC hellscape and transfering to stable coin is taxable event anyways so I don't get it. What is the advantage? We know when we uniswap into usdc its less likely to go tits up?

Normies hold usdc? In terms of normie hype this is like 1% as much as PayPal selling btc. Still why wouldn't you just convert to USD on circle which will have less fees without a doubt.

Jesus, anon. Where is your imagination? They might not hold it YET, but the implications for on-ramping and general usability for normies is significant. Visa, USDC, crypto assets all coming together on one app so easy to use that even you could probably manage it. Never mind, mate. NGMI

He even said himself those weren’t long term things. His long term holds were Link, XMR, and Ark. If you bought those when he mentioned it you’d have a pretty damn good run going

The most important thread would highlight that the top few crypto holders (BTC only) hold 100 billion at today’s price. That’s a significant portion of a “currency” controlled by a few people. Worth noting is that these early miners and adopters have an effective cost basis of zero, so no real pain is felt with a substantial drop - they have no entry or floor price and are comfortable selling large $ amounts even as its tanking. They’re the primary large volume sellers you see on intraday charts. They’re also a reason we will see normal investors scared away as standing sell orders, especially the past few weeks, knock the price down a few percent on any gain. New money, as was being discussed on FBN doesn’t stand a chance unless they want to day trade and chase altcoins, trying to be the early adopters on the next ponzi coin. Greed is common with investing, but for a virtual currency, talk is shifting towards it all crashing given it didn’t start with a set value, rather a few folks holding control and able to manipulate and capture new money as it flows in. I fear new money is going to say no thanks and we will all be trading each other’s money soon, on the way down.
