I got a job doing landscape work for my neighbors, ie: painting, laying mulch, cutting bushes etc. And I am getting a sizable hourly rate. But I notice that my mother keeps going over there and "helping" me do some things after i have time and again told her I do not want her helping me out for reasons such as, I feel inclined to give her pay and I am fine with that but she does it because she said she is "a kind hearted person and thats what neighbors do"
But what if the nieghbors see her doing work? They might think I am charging them for work she does and that will discredit my work. Why pay for me to do it when she does it for free?

She argues that its just how she is and she likes helping neighbors, but I am in it for the coin. Is she wrong or am i wrong in this?
