Is the FUD real? Is the US going to ban bitcoin? Are they going to destroy crypto once and for all?

>Is the US going to ban bitcoin?
IDK, they are retard who are going to crash USA and make Zimbabwean Dollar blush in comparison with USD.
>Are they going to destroy crypto once and for all?
This is not 1990-2000 anymore, anon, USA doesn't have that mush power anymore. China, Russia, EU - they will simply tell USA to fuck off.

>> No.26280049

lol I don't understand. Wasn't crypto basically saying "suck my dick government you can't touch me"?
Why the fuck would bitcoin need the government to say its legal or illegal when it never cared for that in the first place?

they can't stop people from sending transactions from a tech perspective but they can certainly do something stupid like send guys with guns after you for doing so

Just a lot of people are uncertain. Even my father is spooked at this point. We've made well over 220k. I'm scared he will lose faith in me and sell all of his shit. I've always been a failure in life but this was the one thing I am good at. 27 years of letting the old man down but this is the one thing I can do. I'll move to another country and be homeless if that's it is need for this. Selling at this point isn't an option for me. I'll have to hold like never before.

They don't, trying to ban crypto would just cause it to moon even harder, and like >>26280036 said, china will just tell them fuck off. The US may be able to bully other countries with sanctions, but it's kind of hard to bully someone you owe trillions of dollars to.

Banning crypto would just expedite the fall of the american empire, which might be a longterm good thing desu

Pretty much what I was thinking.

Crypto was made as a fuck you to the (((government))), you're telling me the one thing that's gonna stop crypto after all this time is the fucking government? Either crypto as a whole was always dumb or this fud is.

That’s what I mean. Once it goes public it’s official. They are stacking the admin with pro crypto advocates. They know they can’t stop it. Looks like they will tax the shit out of it though

You understand that good crypto projects are decentralized, right? The government has no power over a decentralized token. You think they'll send a swat team to BTC headquarters? They gonna nab Satoshi? They hate it cause they have no power.

they don't have to shut it down, just make it seem so sinister that the majority of people don't want to go near it. basically the same strategy they used to minimize torrenting.

however, I imagine they'll have trouble keeping people away as long as the price continues to rise.

Cool. Fuck normies, they don't deserve to profit off of crypto and I hope they eat the fud and don't buy in.

jup. not because it's a threat to fiat. it never had the potential to threaten the financial system to begin with. They don't want normies to make crazy amounts of money that would allow for upward social mobility. You'll own nothing and be happy. it's over

I distinctly remember the internet being similarly demonized in the 90s once it was expanded beyond universities and started being used mostly by nerdy degenerates. I mean, there was a lot of degeneracy, but then you had companies like google, ebay, paypal, etc who legitimized and solidified its place in society. Until you could easily buy shit online and stream videos, people just thought the internet was going to be a passing fad, or just digital encyclopedias for research purposes.

There was a lot of pain along the way though, and the future we ended up getting is sort of dystopian and sinister, but there's been a fucking shitload of good investment opportunities for the last 30 straight years because of the internet. Crypto will have a similar amount

>> No.26282534

>>26281714
Just make it illegal, duh. Of course there's people who will break the law. But shutting down fiat gateways will basically kill people's ability to purchase crypto or cash out for 99% of people.
