Hope you bought the $20 dip because LINK is headed back already! Back on track to hit $24+ by end of month and beyond or minor correction?

What's the point of even talking about Link anymore? Everyone with a real stack of 10k+ is in no danger of selling before triple digits, and if Link sees $1,000 in the next few years that is only a 50x for people buying now.

I would recommend new players to look for more asymmetric potential than Link. I didn't get where I am buying shit at $20. I did it swinging volatility of small alts and then consolidating into a long term hold.

Just get you a couple 5x's until you can stack a nice fat position in something you want to hold for a while.

Yeah I made quite a bit day trading smaller coins like NU but LINK seems hearty enough to at least double within a year so it's a comfier place for $10k to sit than in a cheaper coin that has less chance to even hit a dollar.

Unless I'm totally wrong, if so please explain why though I'm genuinely interested.

Link has a good chance at being the next efferiumz by many measures. I wouldn't buy above $20 though, it's going to be a roller coaster before it takes off and my emotions can't take that. I won't hesitate to put more in if it dips hard enough though or looks like it's skyrocketing.

>> No.26270408

>>26270309
Agreed except I'm taking my chances at $20 buy and hold until it takes off. Stimulus check money is free money so fuck it all in on ETH and LINK then day trade LTC to make up for short term losses.

Don't risk it if you aren't using disposable income of course.

I'm writing this to people with a grand or two to invest. But your reasoning is totally sound.

In the medium-long term, Link has a strong case for 5x-50x. Metcalfe's law, immense size of market(1.4qt $) and the value of data... Link will certainly(continue) melt faces.

Thanks for the extra info, Anon. Makes sense and I am always thinking long term for big coin buys and short term for smaller buys to day trade (like buying $1000 of LTC at daily $140 dip and selling at daily $150 high and making a quick $80 or so).

A large part of what I did was essentially day trading, maybe 35ish in total, in 2017 you could almost pick blindly and just sell when you achieve profit. The risk I took, was that I was usually swinging with 100% of my stack. I didn't have the balls to keep doing that once I got to ten figures, so I parked in a long term HODL. I would swing into different alts that had either overcorrected or were poomping, switching between alt to alt helped me to stay focused and not get emotionally attached.

GMI. Exactly what I've been learning to do, albeit with only 5 figures. Still feels good to have strong holds in ETH and LINK while playing with smaller coins. Missed out on BTC sub $35k so not sure if it's worth it anymore tho.

Often times you will find that had you held x btc at x time instead of an alt you would have come-out the almost the same on a bull-bear-bull time frame. Chainlink definitely saved the bear market and holders were rewarded generously.

In 2017 XRP saw nearly 150b mcap... Link is at 8b right now. Really hard not to be bullish on the space as a whole, ETH to 10-20k and lINK over $100 before the real end of this bull cycle is not even hopium at this point, more a matter of development and time.

BTC had a number of 30%+ pullbacks during 2017, we have seen the first. When the show ends, or if it ends the same way? I have no idea. Though the all time BTC chart shows some clear patterns for post-halvening markets, you can't be 100% sure that past performance will predict the future accurately. If we get to that euphoric 3-4 trillion total crypto market cap this year, BTC 70-100k, ETH 5-10K... You should be mentally/emotionally prepared to consider taking some profits. I've only been through one bear market and my soul would grimace to go another 2-3 years with no profit taking.

You don't want to end up in a situation where after the peak of everything, you're trying to sell as prices are falling. You sell orders simply won't fill and you'll get eaten alive, so it is a good thing to have a tiered exit strategy.

It would do all you anons well to consider that the 2017 run for BTC started at $900 and went to 20k... BTC could 5x+ from here, considering history.

From a most conservative point of view, I would currently operate on the assumption that now is a safe time to buy.

BTC has definitely stabilized at $35k+ but seems eager to climb back up to a comfy $40k. I don't know if the jump from $800 to $40k is easier than from $35k to $100k though. Even though it's less of a jump, the amounts are just so large I feel like people will freak out as it approaches $100k. Just a feeling not based on anything solid though.

Regardless, it looks like corps are enjoying pumping and dumping with BTC and there's really no disadvantage to them so I don't see it stopping unless crypto is outright banned.

Is selling a bit at a time better for the person than doing it all in a lump? I heard it only helped the market not dip as fast. I'm ready to sell as soon as things cool off anytime the next 2 years or if I turn 5 figure investment into 6.

I saw those posts, just FUD bullshit. Crypto is making corps so much easy money there's no reason to ever ban it. The US Dollar even has an equivalent coin so I don't think crypto will replace it either.

There was a huge jump in crypto value the day before Bidens inauguration. Then a bunch of FUD posts to get everyone to panic sell and drop the price a ton so the people that sold high could buy again low and reap more easy profit.

If you have BTC, ETH, or even LINK and LTC never sell unless you're day trading and buy the dips.

I felt the same way as you about the self assumption that I would sell at 5 or 6 figs when I got there, until I got there.

Don't underestimate your greed, or the value of greed + long term hodl. If Link can be triple digits but will take until 2022-2024, it is well worth the time in the market.

I'm hoping we have a nice healthy bull market yet to go from here, and if nothing else at least skim enough off the top to live comfortably in the interim.

Fundamentally, I believe $1k Link is a matter of when.
