i have to get back to work in a moment but basically you can just hammer the quartz rock and free up the gold that way, but you can use all sorts of heavy industrial methods to get the microscopic particles out. No, that's very likely a scam, Morgans were never stored in rolls, only in bags. These rolls were likely assembled by someone wishing to resell them to boomers at a profit. Some of the rolls will be worth more than you paid for them, but the majority will not.

Crypto could increase your wealth substantially, but a store of value and historically backed safe haven from inflation it is not.

From a Goldmoney article by Alesdair Macleod:

“Assuming the US Treasury’s 8,133.5 tonnes of gold still exists and has not been sold, leased or loaned, it is a relatively simple matter to turn fiat dollars into fully exchangeable gold substitutes and to reintroduce gold coinage into circulation.”

https://www.goldmoney.com/research/goldmoney-insights/don-t-dismiss-gold-and-silver

Does anyone know, or know where to find, an estimate of how many US dollars exist and are in circulation around the globe currently? If so, couldn’t we hypothetically divide that number by the estimated number of oz (converted from the 8,133 tons estimate) of gold that the US Treasury supposedly owns to arrive at a ballpark figure for how many US dollars one ounce of gold would be worth if the US returned to a gold standard? I'd avoid the war nickels if you can, they contain 1.75g Silver which isn't much less than the 2.25g in dimes but because of the expense and increased difficulty of refining (I think the manganese causes issues?) they aren't really desirable compared with normal .900 (or .800-.925) fineness coins.

250 seems high for 1 ounce, but you are in the UK so I don't know your local market. Bro tip, 1st most important issue when buying physical is always liquidity. Ask him how easy/common it is to sell that coin. So major US coins are either the Eagle or the Generic Buffalo. I don't know that coin is.

>> No.26231123

Wen to my local LCS today to scoop up some coins. Dude straight told me that he was cleared out of gold for two weeks and the US mint was oversubscribed for their latest issuance of coins. Eagles are two weeks back order. Generics like 5 weeks or some shit. He was also starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel for silver eagles.

Yet the paper price still hasn't breached 1900 yet. Truly, being a pm fag is suffering. Playing the only market where it's perpetually suppressed.

Yuropoor here. Got the same answer from my LCS, they have months long waiting list for mints orders. Even though they are buying back silver almost 2 bux over spot and are selling 5 bux over spot, they still have issues getting any sufficient supply coming in. No one is selling their silver, and everybody wanna buy, even with the absolute scam tier premiums we experience here.
I asked them when they plan to reduce their premium, the owner answered me "we wont".

I find it truly fascinating how few kikes simply claiming

That's why i'm increasingly nervous about investing in miners.
Many times already i shared my concern on pmg over the ecokikery as a trojan horse to shutdown human activities and police everything. And many times i warned they'd come for the miners and nuclear first. I see anti-mining propaganda EVERYWHERE being spammed on the talmudvision and others MSM outlets these days..

Daily reminder the ecology trojan horse is entirely driven and financed by neo-malthusians kikes whose only goal is to reduce human population to (((acceptable))) levels, and to push this narrative they will destroy our standards of living until we end up like feudal serfs owning nothing to "save the planet".
This is just a giant scam. And miners will be the first victims of this because they are so essential to the expansion of living standards. The most essential alongside oil drilling companies, which are also miners in a sense.

its a long saga to do with the financial crash of 2008, but basically 90% of the guiding business died due to the 08 crash, and many fishing and hunting lodges closed. Almost all of these were run as family operations, with staff drawn from the local community, leaving hundreds out of work.

During this, an activist group from the US contacted a land / rights speculator company as well as several first nations groups. The activists made a deal with the speculators on behalf of the natives, where since under BC regulations, any guiding rights could be bid on by any party, but if they came into the possession of first nations, they were theirs to keep forever and could not be bid on again by anyone else. The parties agreed, and when the 09 guiding season came open all the fishing and guiding rights were swallowed up by the activists and the speculators, and than handed to the natives.

When word got out, it nearly started a race war between the locals and natives, and the hate still simmers to this day. The natives have not used any of these rights either, they killed off the guiding business, and left in their wake a generation of young white guys with a burning hatred of their kind. I am sure several murders can be directly linked to this retrial. The activists who did this would later reform into Land Keepers and Skeena Wild.

Yes. The government overreaches and air of paranoia and distrust filtering through society worries me. The former could have been predicted, although perhaps not to this extent (CBDC, can't leave home, etc.), but the societal paranoia is a new one. You can't even speak to anyone or see anyone smile anymore. You can't see an attractive woman's face. We wear our masks, treat others like lepers, stand on our dots, and just look beaten and submissive. There is no friendly communication among strangers anymore. That to me is the most insidious thing right now. Humans literally fear the people standing behind them in the grocery store line now. I can't think of anything more depressing than a baseline emotion of constant fear of literally everyone.

I'll admit that this worries me, but then again, this isn't the 1930s, which was a country of homogonous, white, god-fearing, patriotic Americans that by and large had blind faith in the government when FDR pulled his heist. The country is on the brink of both economic collapse and civil war. The only thing holding it together is the faltering welfare state. This election left a blind hatred in tens of millions of Americans who know the election was stolen (and here's the key, something like 30 to 40% of Democrats also know it was stolen). The country is very, very different from a century ago, and the hatred that people on both sides feel towards the financial and political elite is only growing because of the lockdowns and implementation of the Great Reset.

Brazillian expat here, living in the US for about half my life now. I've been trying to explain this to every American that has lent me their ear over the last 15 years and it's extremely frustrating that it all amounted to nothing.
What we're seeing now, and have seen for the last 30 years in this and other first world nations is the exact same MO the communists used in South America to wipe out the middle class and create a slave class that is eternally at the mercy of government. We're headed towards that same path, and it pains me to see it happening and to be powerless to stop it.

The reason people say America will become Brazil 2.0 is because it's true.

1) Cultural degradation - slow and insidious decline in the quality of arts and music over the last 30 years. The total corporate-controlled push towards hard rap and other "minority" music onto the mainstream which lowers the common denominator. What was once a field where talented people flourished became a barren wasteland dominated by hacks with record label backing and funny names.

2) Economic dependency - this was easy to achieve in Brazil because the economic conditions were shit for a very long time and class mobility was always difficult; but once the government gravy train started and the population boomed, there was no stopping it. The difference in the US is that most Americans were not interested in becoming wards of the state because culturally that was not acceptable and the minority population wasn't high enough to use it as leverage. So America simply imported its dependents, legally and illegally, which served two purposes - one, it gave giant corporations the slave labor they so desired and two, it transformed the country demographically to the point where it can't be stopped. By the way, if you want a fun read, look for articles on the 1980s hyperinflation in Brazil and the eventual attempt by government to fix it:

>The total corporate-controlled push towards hard rap and other "minority" music
As someone that listens to rap (innagym) you have it backwards. Corporate is pushing for male rappers to be more effeminate while pushing female rappers to be as manly as possible. It's the subversion of the same feelings that cause hyperaggressive music in male musicians and wistful/up-beat melodrama sounds in female musicians. The lard brains that consoom the music think that women should be more "boss" like men so they should just copy male music. This is actually explicit in Taylor Swift songs of late.

The old guard of rap (50 cent, Jay-Z, BunB etc) all had >50lbs on the big name guys out today when they were the same age. And the female rappers (that we still remember) had different lyrics and melody than the male rappers because they were the ones actually constructing the music and it naturally had large differences to their male colleagues.

Basically just compare Ariana Grande to Lana Del Ray and Travis Scott to 50 cent to get the gist of it.

The government cannot control everything if there is a strong and thriving middle class, because it is the backbone of a healthy society. Small and mid-sized businesses are the best way for the poor to stop being poor, because in a level field, good ideas and entrepreneurship are rewarded. This is both threatening to giga-corporations and the government, who want to keep the populace preoccupied with their football rivalries and twitter-warrior fights about who is the most oppressed instead of trying to find a way out of the rat race, which is rigged from the start against them.

In Brazil, the government managed to demolish the middle class through draconic regulation, out of control taxation and hilariously anti-business labor laws and consumer protection laws. It became essentially impossible to do business cleanly, because you would sink under the tax and regulatory burden; so the only small and medium sized businesses that survive are the shady ones, or the ones who pay off the government so they get off their backs. Big business can only survive by keeping government officials on payroll. My family didn't want to play that game and they essentially lost everything.

But in America, business ownership is a very strong force. Manifest Destiny and the American Dream are ingrained in society. Everyone wants to make it, and historically they had the environment and the tools to do so. With every financial crash, people manage to scrape on by somehow. Realtor I know, out of work because of the pandemic, found a niche in making plexiglass shields to survive and is doing pretty well in that market. That's why the only way to truly and completely crush the productive class is to make it so expensive and difficult to operate that they have no other choice but to close down in the hopes that soon they'll be able to go back to work; except they accumulate more debt, the timeline keeps getting pushed back to the breaking point.

So they needed a catalyst, something that could excuse crushing small and medium businesses that couldn't operate effectively for long periods of time until their ability to keep the doors open was exhausted. A global pandemic was just what the doctor ordered.

(FWIW I wear my cuck mask, follow proper safety protocols and don't deny Covid is real, except that I think it's extremely convenient for the powers that be that it's accomplishing exactly what they wanted. I do think it's overblown.)

It just so happens that it's a great way to keep printing trillions of dollars to inflate the (((top 1%))) 's checking accounts one last time before it all blows up.

Lastly you have:

3) A destruction of cultural unity.

This goes hand in hand with the cultural revolution, but essentially the communists have always gone for the class warfare angle; rich vs poor - which works very well in places where there is a very large disparity between rich and poor and zero upward mobility. Doesn't work so well in places where there's a thriving middle class with the rich above it and a relatively small amount of poor people under it. Brazil was a fairly mixed nation to begin with, so you couldn't break groups down by race, so essentially the class angle is the only one they could go for.

So what do you do? They start giving you every reason to hate your neighbor; they divide us into infinitely small groups that bicker incessantly over the smallest of details.

The division of these last 5 or 6 years will never be undone; there's nothing that can bridge the ideological gap in this country anymore.

>>26233777
This, too. On top of everything else, we can't even smile at a stranger, you can't even hold the door for someone, even striking a conversation is awkward these days. Once they come up with a "solution" to the problem, people who are tired of this will accept anything so long as they can go back to the normalcy of life. Normies just want it to be over.

I see a lot of doomerism here in this thread among my metals bros and it makes me sad. You should be optimistic, because everything going on right now signals that this "regime" is coming to an end. There is always both a crackdown on dissent against the regime and attempts to economically and politically "organize" a way out of the decline of the regime towards the end. I don't think it will be super violent but it won't be like all the govt. workers just don't show up one day like some of the east bloc countries. Build up yourself and your own families and close communities rn. Go to church. If you need to learn to be rootless until you can settle somewhere secure. I was mostly referring to the situation in Brazil, but it's not much different from what happened in America in the 90s. We had 'hood culture pushed to the mainstream as a way to displace "rich people" music, and to normalize "favela culture" - is the simplest way I can put this. I'll admit I'm not a fan of rap but I can't find fault in the people who are (my musical tastes are admittedly pretty awful), but I think the quality of 90's US rappers and 90's BR rappers is entirely different. Think what you're describing now, except it was happening back then and has only gotten worse.

Its a good thing in the long run for both parties. Hecla Mining hasnt continued to exist for over 130 years because they bought shit properties or explored poor ground. Hecla has done this sort of partnership a lot in the past, built up a property and project, than completely buys out the partner or continues to work with the partner until they move on to another project. Its how they built their Greens Creek Mine in Alaska 10 years ago, they helped a junior finance exploration work than when the project was proved up bought the mine.

thanks for the story brazilanon. not sure where we're going to be able to flee to after this. I fear this is it for the United States. the only thing the American people have left is that things get so bad that the guns come out. These fuckers are brave though, they're backing the citizenry into a corner. A large chunk of the US now know they have no representation in the government or the media. Republican party, the controlled opposition, is dead. A power vacuum is open and ready to be filled. And then the wildcard: crypto. I hope you have an open mind anon, because crypto is a game changer. I hold crypto, PMs, and PM mining stocks, plus the "emergency kit" just in case. It's not all lost yet, but it sure is looking that way. Hope for the best, be ready for the worst. The American people still has it's ace in the hole.

I was 2 when the new constitution was drafted and the regime officially ended so I can't comment from a first hand perspective, but from what I have heard through my family and other sources is that the military takeover wasn't all it was cracked up to be when it came to pushing the communist/socialist ideology out of the country. For a while the left was militant, with plenty of terrorist attacks and kidnappings (of which former president Rousseff was a part of, fun fact), but once they ran out of funds and the cops cracked down on their operations, they found a home in schools and universities where they managed to indoctrinate multiple generations of kids towards Marxist ideologies.

Argentina did a much better job, but in the end it amounted to almost nothing as we can see today.

Still, the military rule is a favorite scapegoat of the left to this day. I think it ended up being much more fruitful for them to take a subversive approach versus a revolutionary one.

I don't hold much in crypto myself, working in IT I have to be distrustful of something that requires a network to function and I don't believe at all that BTC is worth it's asking price much in the same way I don't believe one share of Tesla stock is worth its asking price; that being said I think the technology can both be our best bet against total government control and our ticket towards it. It just depends on how things go - but I do have a small position in ETH and GRT.

>The American people still has it's ace in the hole.

Yes, which few other developed nations still have. They WILL come for the guns eventually just like they did in so many other places and they'll use every excuse to do so. Mass shootings are a real tragedy (whether they're psyops, fake or the work of glowies is irrelevant) but in the grand scheme of things, not a good enough reason to take away the only tool a common man still has to stand shoulder to shoulder with his oppressor.

that is the current game plan which will probably be rushed thru with the incoming administration. In the works right now is further depth in the background check system on firearms and all ammo purchases, federal firearm license to own, and mandatory gun buy back on assault weapons. It will most likely be heavily debated on where it will pass and the general population will be passively resistant by not complying. Except what will be the spark will be the first political hit on one of these gun grabbers where secessionist were the first to start this fight begins popping up again.

Last post for the night, but the feeling I get is that the establishment has intentionally backed the right into a corner because it needs a big enough reason to gather enough normie support for sweeping and draconian gun control regulation, enacted at a moment's notice.

It's a doomed if you do, doomed if you don't scenario. If things stay on course, it's death by a thousand cuts; eventually there will be no more guns to grab, or the few that are out there are irrelevant. Or they continue to compress the spring further and further until it pops explosively and they can't control what happens next. The scenario they're hoping for is for a few disgruntled citizens, disorganized and motivated only by anger or despair to cause a situation favorable to them; a useful sacrifice, let's call it.

I guess my best piece of advice is for all /pmg/ regulars to buy a boat and frequently take their guns and precious metals along with them to roleplay as pirates. But be careful to not have any boating accidents.

I truly love this nation and hope things don't turn out that way. Good night frens

I'm watching for a signal that shit's out of the market maker's control. news about the dealers is pretty significant, and i think everyone is also watching inauguration, since US elections are one of the bigger events in a given year for speculative investments -not like it matters since we're in a uniparty bar "trumpism" sort of. I've commented on that M2 meme, since it's a bit misguided saying that we've "created 1/3 of all dollars this year." Otherwise i've been enjoying making stupid OC.

you misread the situation. the state is illegitimate in the eyes of 1/3-1/2 of the population now. the regime is playing chicken with a brick wall. any "take the guns" scenario would lead to a situation that would quickly spiral out of their control and a critical mass of the population would not be on the regime's side. we have "real" politics now, people actually feel they have something to lose.

Yes, that was probably me - I linked the Wikipedia article in my first post of the genius plan to combat inflation and boost the economy!... freezing everyone's assets.

NYT article in '90 when they implemented it:

https://www.nytimes.com/1990/03/17/business/brazil-s-new-chief-gives-radical-plan-to-halt-inflation.html

Here's an article I found from 1992 that speaks a bit about the obviously disastrous results:

https://www.joc.com/brazil-brings-end-its-failed-economic-plan_19920818.html

Essentially they thought they could control runaway inflation by keeping people from spending any of their money for a year and a half, except that the $100 they froze in your bank account was suddenly worth $0.001 after two years and 30,000% a year inflation. Hundreds of people committed suicide because of this stroke of genius.

He was our first democratically elected president since '64, also the first one to be impeached.

I don't think it's that large a percentage. I suspect a fairly large percentage of people who voted for Trump know that there was fraud in the elections but aren't fully convinced that the fraud altered its outcome. As such, they'll grudgingly accept that Biden is the president and they won't behave like the legions of fucking faggots who threw temper tantrums when Trump won in 2016 all while hoping for better quality elections in 2024. Truth is, neither the Republicans nor Democrats want good quality elections. The Democrats made real efforts to ensure no voter fraud occurred during George W. Bush's and Trump's wins despite their pathetic, hypocritical claims of voter fraud. Likewise, the Republicans made no effort to audit and validate the election process to end any questions about Bush's and Trump's wins.

I think the biggest problem is that while the radical right is actually a tiny minority of the country and never had any say in the government, there are many people on the radical left in positions of power and are calling for clearly unconstitutional actions. Even what were once somewhat moderate Democrats seem to have gone over the edge, perhaps due to advanced age. The more moderate Democrats would do well to remember what their very own, John F. Kennedy, said about impossibilities and inevitabilities. The need to either rein in or remove from office the radical elements in their own party.

I'm saying that there's a difference between people who believe that there was fraud in the elections and people who are going to behave like the Democrat faggots in 2016. Only a very tiny percentage of Republicans are going to be whining non-stop that Biden is not a legitimate president. The election is over and anyone with even a double digit IQ knew that there was going to be a lot of fraud. Most people are just going to accept this as an undesirable outcome and get back to life; the more diligent will start working to push for elections that are much more resistant to fraud.

>what? the dems sued in 2016
Damn it. I dropped a word. It should have read, "The Democrats made *no* real efforts to ensure..." Despite behaving every bit as badly or even worse than the Trump voters in 2000, 2004, and 2016, the Democrats did *nothing* to ensure that elections would be trustworthy in the future.

the problem is the establishment regime has mad itself openly antagonistic to its enemies in a way it has never done before. people will try to go "back to work" etc. but the "real" politics like I said starts now. major GOP realignment if not in-party revolution. if the GOP actually does something other than play heel for the dems it is a new ball game, and we can expect the censorship, demonization, and violence to escalate.
