The balancer pool itself collects the fee's, you own a percentage of the pool, so when the pool grows, the value of your percentage grows with it. BAL rewards are airdropped on a weekly basis I believe, to the wallet you used to pool.

desu, depends on the market sentiment and how the project goes. But it is a deflationary token and in 2-3 years the supply could be as low as 30-40M. Then by having working pools with high APY, 3-4B market cap is not out of reach, especially if DeFi takes off as a new notion.

So far it's been a bull market which might even continues for a few months. However if BTC bull run cools off, then people need to think about an option and tool which gives them a consistent APY and take advantage of the crypto volatility where BTC is stagnating and that is when DeFi steps in and then takes off.

It could be eventually but it doesn't seem to be a priority. Back when it first came out a bunch of Uniswap noobs and some people in general went on about how it was needed, but it turns out there's no volume for it on those and it was just messing up price feeds.

Infinity pool is infinitely better for a STA bullrun bro. Stanos is only good for bluechip pumps and bear markets desu. The APY is also shit right now, no idea where the 30+% numbers are coming from. As its nowhere close.

These, you lose 50% STA exposure, if it moons while the others stagnate you get impermanent loss, which was happening. When it starts to crab i'll pool again

This. Its not a big deal to unpool and then while STA is crabbing or dipping after our rip to a dollar jump back in STANOS while bluechips have their next run. Then for the bear market you will want to be in STANOS to collect comfy fees and not be exposed to big losses as bluechips always experience the less severe end of the bear. Although, with STAs burn being accounted for infinity may always be the best choice, as you'll collect fees and be 100% exposed to the asset that is the most dip resistant. Balancer pools are almost a way to steal your STA, but also the reason for it, if you think about it. If you truly believe STA is the Bitcoin of defi - which I truly do believe - why would you give up half of your position to hold other coins?

>> No.26233287

>>26232776
I personally decided to go 50% into Infinity and 50% into STAnos for my holdings. As long as the price goes up, we're all winning anyways.

>> No.26233397

>>26233268
That's the plan. I put it in while it was crabbing to get exposure to some action but it's eating my gains atm. And STA is the BTC of defi, this thing will easily be in the top 50 within the next 2 years.

>> No.26233702

>>26233397
I fully agree, but at that point, doesnt that make STA theoretically and almost paradoxically useless? STA does supercharge Balancer pools, but the value that it brings balancer pools is greater than the value you receive from holding it in Balancer pools. Because, regardless what anyone says, the APY right now is like 10%. Is that fucking worth what we should be receiving for even supplying our wSTA to these pools? We're basically handing Balancer volume for pennies. Unless, since the warning message went away, we will now be eligible for full BAL rewards. Ill give it one more week for Balancer to pay me what I deserve for making their platform receive a fuckton of volume, if they dont pay me I'm taking my STA and running.

>> No.26234940

>>26234580
The pools are simple anon, in STANOS, you get 50% exposure to STA and 50% equal split of BTC, ETC, SNX & LINK.

Basically it mitigates the risk of holding Statera because there are other tokens values at play. If STA moons and the others stagnate, you only get 50% of the gains of just holding pure STA. On the contrary, if STA Stagnates while the others increase in value, it rebalances itself to keep the split 50/50, which results in the number of STA tokens increasing to create the balance (USD value)

>> No.26234984

>>26234458
No. I fully understand that, I don't think you understand that youre basically being ripped off by holding your deflationary asset in a pool that takes 50% of it from you while it pays you out 10% APY. The pool grew massively over the last week. Much more than quadrupled in volume. I received hardly over half of what I got last week, and what I received stretched out to a year, equals about 10%.

>> No.26235009
