Yes, but nobody really knows what the overall supply will look like coming out the other side of this. There will be a token burn, it has been openly discussed. The question is how much will the community vote to burn? I'm guessing probably somewhere north of 50% of the supply.

Adding more is the way to go. It auto-harvests whatever you have at the same time, so you can add more bao to your stash or offset the gas fees.

Farm. Short term price fluctuations this early in the game are kinda moot since the only buy/sell action will be for staking and liquidating rewards to offset gas fees. Even though BAO's price has been dropping, the amount I've been getting from farming has been outpacing the dumps.

We'll also see less selling once we move to xDai since most people only sell their rewarded BAO to pay fees. There's not much active trading of the coin yet, this is the ICO essentially. The actual project comes in a few months with Sushi integration. This is distribution phase structured in a way that's fair to everyone rather than just whales who buy up all the tokens at launch to dump later. Buying all your BAO now isn't the best idea, just buy what you want to stake and farm off that. That's why the current price is silly to pay attention to, just farm and hold. Don't fill yourself up on the appetizer and leave, the main course has yet to be prepared.

Tokens are locked for 3 years so not very prone to rugpull. He'd make a lot more money partnering with the third largest DEX than he ever could rugpulling a bunch of NEETs. He's also actively moving the project to L2, it really wouldn't make sense for someone to put in the effort of migrating if he planed on ditching us. All the FUD against this project gets killed when you just look at it instead of dismissing immediately by past association.
