Starting out with low capital (under 2k) what should I focus on ? Playing it safe with BTC and ETH, LINK? Or maybe researching for the next big bullrun on shitcoins? I think of buying some LINK and 1-2 alt coins. Any guidelines for my portfolio ? Alt coins with big potencial ?

BTC is probably going to stall again at $40k if not lower. ETH is getting pumped back up to $1400 but wait until tomorrow to see if it's gonna dump hard again or stabilize before buying in high. LTC is great for day trading if you wake up early. LINK is rising again so buy now if you really want to risk it.

Other coins like ALGO and NU seem profitable and cheap to buy a lot and trade weekly but you have to buy a lot.

Anything you do now won't pay off for years if you're lucky so pick what looks fun.

Started out the same, and slowly ended up with about $4k invested. My method was having mostly ETH, and (after spending a few hours/days of research) putting like $500 worth of ETH into an alt. Then I would sell after I doubled or tripled my money. Kept repeating this, and held some bags I believed in. 6 months later I’m at around $25k.
Don’t diversify with such little money. Also don’t really worry about the price as much as the marketcap and room for growth. It seems like having 10000 of a $0.01 coin is great, but that $45 shitcoin with a lower marketcap might quadruple.
Most importantly, NEVER sell at a loss unless the coin has been completely abandoned and you were scammed. I’ve had some things plummet and crab for months before I could sell and break even. Patience brother.
