Can this actually going to $300-500 this bullrun? I used to joke about it and say it would but deep down I didn’t believe it was realistic. Now I’m not so sure anymore. 120B mcap doesn’t seem outrageous if we get a bullrun like 2017...I can’t get a feel for realistic prices anymore
>>26202436Yes.
>>26202436Yes? Obviously retard
>>26202436I don't think anyone here knows what the fuck is going on.As far as I can tell the value of these meme coins depend on what people think of them, and if people fall for it in droves like they did bitcoin and ethereum, then yes, I'd say it's entirely possible
>>26202436Yes. Stupid question.
>>26202436being below $300 would defeat the purpose. read the whitepaper. duh
>>26202436Some say 2k, 1k, $500.. the list goes on. There are some actually serious traders (like WyckoffMode) who are betting on LINK being worth hundreds of dollars. Why not?>new idea>not really any competition>solid team and achievements so farEverything points to a huge run up.
>>26202436It’s bleeding down to five dollars again
obviously not, I would have 10 million dollars. I dont see it happening
>>26202555Checked. >obviously retard I used to reply to people like this. You actually believe it though? It’s been so long I’m losing my realism meter.
>>26202436we will be the biggest crypto behind btc and ethmaybe even above eth but not anytime soon.so at least in satoshis there is a huge upsidewe belong above bcash, dot, ada, xrp, etc etc
>>26202699I have no doubt that LINK will hit at least $100. I have 125k riding on this.
It's not gonna moon violently this BullrunThe real moon happens after this Bullrun and by then people be too late to realise the true value of chainlink and how fundamentally this changes everythingThese dumps every week by Sergey and the relatively less hype surrounding this coin are a blessing. This shit is unironically going to $2000 by the end of 2024
Do you seriously believe link will go to $300 or are you multiplying that number by your stack size and hoping, dreaming, it will happen. What is real
>>26202436no, especially when crypto twitter is so sure that it will. I will sell when it hits $40.
>>26202436There is roughly only about 200k people that hold link right now.But as of the beginning of this year, it is now on the radar of the newest of fags.200k holders is nothing but it is growing exponentially.Soon all the plebs that bought xrp will realise that it is a scam and that money will cause a serious rearranging of the top 10.Most of the top 10 are "eth killers" or btc forks etc... there will only be 2 of these left at the end... hint it's BTC and ETH.LINK is the only original project in the top 10 now so once the trash has flopped then link will be #3 in a market worth a min of 3 - 7 trillion dorrars.
>>26202678How does 10 million dollars sound?
>>26202653Doesnt matter if you have a good product or a good Team. If here is a market then you will make it, if not then you will fail.
>>26202791Look up metcalfes law and go look at market.link
i really hope we get a crash like 2018remember when link fell from 1 to 0.20? it was so comfy, a 200$ bill could get me 1000 linkiesswear to god if link goes to 4$ i will use all my credit score to buy as much as i can. time is running out, in a few years anons will be crying about not buying LINK when it was 100$
>>26202790>This shit is unironically going to $2000 by the end of 2024$1000 is a trillion mcap and BTC isn’t even there yet and enough electricity is being spent securing the network to power a small country.
>>26202875Proof of work will do that...
>>26202436>>26202541>>26202555not mathematically possible to go above $24.39
>>26202815get a load of this guy, link will never be top 3 and it will never flip dot. also there are 350K link holders.
>>26202875Look into how much electricity is necessary to power an orbital platform in Project Skyvault.
>>26202436when I bought LINK, I bought other coins that were at the same price of ~$0.25, among them, BATI look at BAT, and then I look at LINKLINK already 100x for me, why would another 100x be so incredible?I do believe this is going to be the third place coin, for the people who missed out on bitcoin and ethereumso with eth at around $1000, it's only natural that link should be around $100, instead of $10
>>26202858I own link pool too. I’m trying to figure out if I’m being deluded. At 1k current circ would be 400B mcap. That’s 2.2x ETH mcap right now. A bullrun like 2017 would be crypto market at 5-10 trillion.
>>26202932Another uneducated opinion eh?There are 350k wallets not holders. Big difference. I have 5 of them for example.A huge number of which are just dust
>>26202932DOT is shit, mate.

>>26202436>this bullrunno
>>26203740Ya people act like that will happen over night. How much network use leave is there anyway? How many transactions are happening a day right now?

>>26203740staking out in Q1 this year mateiirc 5% of top link wallets own over 90% of the supply. you think there will be a single whale out there who will not try to leverage his position and immediately get into staking?75% was me lowballing. you will see some wild shit mate1k is FUD
>>26202790this. patience, people
>>26203778idk, I bet there will be other ways to stake, but I'd also bet that linkpool will be the best. And link isin't the only one you can stake, they are hinking about eth too. even if you wouldn't stake anything you'd still get a distribution from all the nodes. for the last month the rewards have been quite good. cant wait till staking is out
>>26203778>Will there be other options to stakeyou can do so yourself if you're willing to spend the time learning how to and setting things upyou can get servers with excellent uptime dirt cheap, you can even get a couple backup servers just in caseonly "problem" is that if you don't have a lot of link staked, your node will not be able to participate in huge transactions that require huge amounts of collateral. of course pooling will solve that
>>26203229This. You had four years to accumulate. And four fucking years to understand the marketcap doesn't fucking matter. Marketcap is the amount of existing tokens multiplied by the most recent price someone bought the token with. It is not a stock that pays dividends, IT IS A FUCKING UTILITY TOKEN. UTILITY!!!!!!! You need it to use the motherfuckimg network

I’m totally new to Chainlink and was wondering if any of you could explain something to me. I want to set up a validator node, but I’m not sure what types of jobs I could set up. Are there standard jobs I can provide? Do I have to come up with something original to hope to get anyone to use my node? Been watching videos on this but that part isn’t well explained
>>26202436No you dumb shit.
>>26205012something like "the amount of times people have said nigger on 4chan per day" would be a nice one
>>26202875thing is mate you need to remember that when staking is launched, a lot of link will effectively be removed from the cap , meaning it will be much quicker to $1000
>>26205012My understanding is that as well as calls being for high value privileged information, there will be calls for simple public information too.So a company might want the specifics of mr Smiths accounts for the last 6 months to assess him for a mortgage (probably a job for enterprise nodes and linkpool etc...) but another company may want to know the exact time of day in Singapore 10,000 times an hour (neet node work). The first example may only require 2 or 3 nodes to aggregate where as the 2nd example may decide to use 500 nodes for every call. The first example may cost $1 per node in fees but the 2nd $0.001.You get the gist
>>26205363when will staking be released
>>26205446maybe Q1, probably Q2
>>26205446Tonight!
I need a x5 so I can shit on my desk at work.
>>26203012Yes. People need a meta perspective. You are investing in infrastructure. It's not a shitcoin. It's not a "I need 5 other projects to do well THEN this coins project makes sense". LINK is integral to defi success. If you believe in the what these projects are seeking to achieve you cannot ignore link. It's like saying bricks and shingle roofs are the future of housing but mortar and glue are stupid. It's sincerely that dumb at this point. I don't care if link dips to 15. I don't care i it bloats to 30. I'm going to buy. Im going to keep buying link. If you have spent a couple of years in crypto you gain perspective. BTC was meteoric in that time frame. The criticism is that theres no practical use. 1 thats incorrect and 2 if you grant thats true...what happens when there is widespread use? What happens if 10% of what people are aiming for comes true? And do you know what will make the ethereum network actually viable? link. I laugh when people drop bags and invest in a shitcoin p&d. If you short LINK you don't care about crypto or defi and should just put your money in the S&P like a good boomer.
what the estimate roi on staking? it has to be more than 5% right?

People here are retarded to pay the opportunity cost over a sure thing (ETH/BTC) that will have a favorable exchange rate in the future. The only reason to not do this is a desire to keep it all above board for tax purposes.Doing what you advocate with a 6-7 figure stack is going to result in massive tax liabilities and risk turning you into a business (way worse tax liabilities in the future for some countries) when you are trading and repositioning to come out ahead. If you leave it all in LINK you can play dumb and probably have a lawyer get whatever you cash out to be treated as long term capital gains.Retarded LINK valuations can only happen with staking + a "craze" that retail is buying into with LINK as the reserve currency. Tell it to me straight boys, am I delusional? Is it just a meme? Is it all real? What would you do in my place?
>>26212914the crumbs are less and less most dont give a fuck anymore because they know they made it already. Price only gets higher and barrier for entry gets thin. Link's unique cycle makes it harder for glass hands because they seethe when alts and btc moon and eventually get shaken out and link moons. The the day of the rope is 1k chainlink eoy.
>>26216802Sell half when it hits triple digits
>>26203889Staking will commence on the 2nd feb.
>>26216802If I were to pull out during a bull market, it would be to pay off debt or put down a down payment on a major asset. Nothing in vain.
>>26206559So much this. The ChainLink network literally can't function if it's not roughly the price of a cup of coffee..That's why the team drops tokens so often, in attempt to bring the price down to functional levels. ChainLink is super important! Don't get me wrong.. But if you want to make money, you should buy something like XRP that will without a doubt reach $1,000 by the end of the year :)
>>26213049>100k is a medium stackplease be quiet
>>26214695Sergey will need to have clone doubles in the future that act as bodyguard, those arent memes. In the future link will overshadow btc and people will do anything for a dust of link. Sergey will be the most powerful man, the one who controls The Oracle the all knowing truth giver. Sergey will buy Mc Donalds as a joke in 10 years. You guys have no idea whats to come, we literally entering crypto mainia and link will surprise everyone once again and this is only the beginning. All the smart money will be buying positions and retail is literally priced out. You guys have no idea how rekt retail was from corona. All retail left are the big baggers that already made it and whales pumping. 1k eoy is only fud
>>26217025The only reason I would pull out half at 1K is because after getting raped on taxes I'd have over a million left. It'd be enough to buy a house, have comfortable savings, and allow me to work / live well while watching the other half grow or crash.
>>26216802I'm in the same boat. I'm borrowing on Aave to increase my stack. Already started the borrow/dca process a couple weeks ago. Will stop when I hit 20% borrowing against collateral. I've found a money guy that's got a 30 percent yearly returns track record for the last 20 years, so I'm selling 2k link at $400 and giving 300k to him, 300k for a house paid in full, and leaving me $200k to wait out until the next bullrun leaving me with 3k link. Wouldn't surprise me if I get bored and start buying up dips but I know I'll at least have a solid base for the rest of my life. I turned 23 today and I can stand to not retire for another few years. I will always solidly be in the one percent if I stay sharp. Think about your financial goals, how long you're willing to wait for them to be met, and what you want/need immediately. At the same time, don't sell too much of your golden goose. Link is a gift that we really shouldn't have found. I'm forever grateful to the anons here that did the heavy lifting and taught me all that I know about the catalyst of the 4IR. Godspeed anon.
>price is somehow related to usefulness of the techaverage boomer doesnt understand what the fuck CL is
What's going on??? Why is it going on freefall?
>hurrdurr can the thing that will cause the 4th indsutrial revolution only go to 500 measly us shit dollars
>>26217957This is a good sign
CUZ I'M FREEEEEI'M FREE FALLIN'
How does chainlink function according to plan if the price exceeds a "cup of coffee"?
>>26218044I'M GONNA FREE FALL OUT INTO NOTHIN'GONNA LEAVE THIS WORLD FOR A WHILE
All I know is that I bought 5k in 17 and would have bought more if the FUD wasnt so fucking scary
>>26217957Chainlink FUD coinciding with shorting to trigger stop losses and an eventual long squeeze. This will be followed up by a consolidation back in the 6-7 billion total market cap so that the article doesn't erase LINK.Then we can recover in time for the follow up article about weekly dumps. The one that really can't be argued against.
no NO no NO NO NO!!!!!IT'S FUCKING OVER
>>26202436it will touch 300 but you will not sell the topinstead you will hodl until it crashes down to 100, then buy back in at 180

>>26219323>you will hodl until it crashes down to 100, then buy back in at 180The true Biz way...
>>26218047they are printing money so hard a cup of coffee will likely be up to $300-500 by the end of this year as well that's what we're basing this on
>>26219301>fluctuates a dollar to/fro>actually believing it won't hit 1k before 2022

if a cup of coffee can reached 300$ via inflation, sure why not.
>>26221998This has nothing to do with Chainlink. How many times do we need to teach you this lesson?

>>26216227>>26216717no, he's right assuming he meant people, not crypto people in their little bubble. No one in the real world knows what a dapp even is or that it has ANYTHING to do with ethereum
