There are faggots here that still buy ETH, not mine it.

my 12 gpus from 2016(gtx 1070s and 1080s) still mine 0.04 eth a day
a rig with modern gpu's could mine upwards of 0.08 eth daily, or 2.4 eth monthly
cope harder

Lol at these kids mining 1 eth a month in their parents house, I bet you have affluent parents who let you run up the power bill because they have been worried about your self esteem and emotional well being for the better part of your entire life.

If you've got a shed with GPU racks and a solar array, why don't you show us? Oh yeah, it's because you can't actually afford a legit outfit. 9/10 fags who tried to mine ran up credit cards to get their equipment and probably shit and piss their pants when mommy won't pay the $500 electric bill. I am exponentially wealthier than the "miners" ITT just from holding $4k investment in link for three years. Congrats on being smart enough to waste electricity, but too dumb to invest intelligently.

generally once you use over 10k kWh the prices drop significantly. Its less attractive for small-scale mining, but one antminer already draws like 1k kwh per month, so upscale and you get better returns, and this is at commercial rates

its pretty bad now, all current gen cards are only on ebay, 2.5x retail. nicehash had a blog on most profitable miner, which is 8x3060, will pay about 1k per month. Its more than that now at current eth price, you would need to spend something like 8-9k right now to get the parts, it would take 7 months to break even.

that's true though, building a mining rig today is not that smart and a big hassle for outsiders, but it's pretty nice to whoever got in earlier, you just sell your gpus before a new generation comes on to keep the cycle going, and it's easy and safe profits and a good hedge if all go south since you can dump then on gaymers

wtf are you on about? what about it is garbage? 3060's are super efficient power utilization for the hash rate and if you were able to get cards at retail its pretty mint. Obviously 3090ti would be best, but its way more upfront, more power supplies, etc..and you can't even get these parts anyways..
