the only explanation for this shitcoin's shit tier performance is someone found an inflation bug (probably after 2017) and is dumping into any and all rallies

I used to buy adderall on darknet and maybe 1/10 vendors accept XMR. it's still btc everywhere.

>> No.26172332

not a bad guess, i'm honestly dumbstruck by xmr's performance so far lol. It's still kraken, binance, poloniex, and a million chinese and russian exchanges.

No, that’s not it. Explain by what mechanism you think the price should increase? If you buy this and hold for a year, why would anyone want to buy it from you for more than what they paid?
Before you think I’m some general bear, Monero is pretty unique in not having any reason for its price to increase. Remember, it is NOTHING like Bitcoin, which takes the Store of Value use case, and that is also what got its price to climb and took it out of the drug market niche that Monero is trying for. But being used to buy drugs is not a reason for the price to climb, rather the incentive is for the price to stay stable. Which it will, because that’s what you do when you go for the payment use case, incognito payments or not.

Yeah to be fair I got clean and don't buy drugs anymore, but people used to say the same shit about XMR in 2017. I don't think I ever saw it accepted. It was always BTC, granted a lot can change in a coupl years.
Have any of you shills even made a purchase on the darkweb?

Unironically XMR rarely pumps because its actually used to transact instead of just speculate. It's a slow and steady climber, volatility is much lower than with other coins

Other explanation : Monero is constantly raped by intelligence agencies dumping their fat bags taken from the crime world.

>Remember, it is NOTHING like Bitcoin, which takes the Store of Value use case

Bitcoin:

>non-fungible

>addresses vulnerable to blacklisting

>mining centralized in China

>balances open to public scrutiny

Monero:

>fungible

>addresses invulnerable to blacklisting

>decentralized ASIC-resistant mining

>private balances

But Bitcoin is the superior store of value. :D

This is obviously a reverse psychology bait thread.

Please stop talking about xmr.
Let's just fill out bags for now and we can spread the word after $200+

When this breaks out it will be violent, and non-believers WILL be left behind.

Go here: https://www.reddit.com/r/darknet

Then do a search for "Bitcoin"
