This bullrun has made me enough money to sort out all my debt, buy a new PC, a new car, and have another $10k to spruce up my apartment. How do you resist the temptation to improve your life on the hopes of maaaaybe it being worth more tomorrow? Yeah I know, I know, muh depreciating assets and consooming but I have a guaranteed better life right now if I cash it, why shouldn't I because of some tiny chance I get rich? Is it delusion? Greed?

The only people who make it are those with balls big fucking heavy balls of steel. 90% of the original Linkers who bought at $0.20 and were "NEVER FUCKING SELLING" got shaken out between $5-$10.

u guys will unironically ngmi with that mentality

even if I were to spend 100k$ on useless shit right now, that would in no way improve my life whatsoever I would still be a fkn wagecuck cubicle prisoner for the rest of my life

however if I just invest it on memecoins there are 2 options, I make a 50x which actually changes my life forever or I lose everything in which case I would continue being a poor loser anyway

asymmetric investment, nothing to lose everything to win. This is how you make it anon

I have a car and a decent PC already, and still live with my parents. As shitty as that might be, i dont need to spend much of my money.

If you have debt anon, pay that off ASAP. your profits are not guaranteed to outdo the interest on your loans. After that, make sure you have an emergency fund set up, then you're free to HODL all you want. Remember to review Ramsey's 7 baby steps if you're unsure.

I for one am paying off my debt once I make twice the amount. However all splurging will be put on hold. Frugal as possible until I make it. When I make it I'll spend and reward myself a bit.

I just built a new PC with an 8 core Ryzen 3000 processor with a reddit-tier IPA mechanical keyboard; if I didnt need a new computer for my needs it wouldve been useless. Stop consooming you fucking rat; things dont make you happy.

$10K to “spruce” up your apartment . Could you be a bigger faggot?

>> No.26155187

I'm not in debt, the money I earn at work goes towards the house I'm building and my old crappy car is still running. Crypto for me will be a comfy retirement or a failed gamble, nothing in between.
I'm greedy, but what I crave is freedom from the rat wheel, not material goods.

It's already been said, but the goal is retirement. I'd unironically rather live in a trailer and drive a carolla than live in a mansion and drive a lambo, if it meant I never had to work again.
If you don't mind working for shekelburg until you're 70, go for it.

Why can't you just make reasonable purchases and live within your means until you can retire? Maybe reinvest the money so you'll have more long term? It's not greed anon, it's called financial stability.

HODLing isn't an issue for me. I went all in on LINK in early 2018 when it was at rock bottom and have held my stack through all the highs and lows since. Cashing out now would be incredibly shortsighted and I'm not going to waste a golden opportunity for an early retirement just so I can get a new laptop, blow 30K+ on a depreciating asset, or any other frivolous purchases. You can clearly live without any of those purchases you mentioned and 3 years from now when your stack is worth considerably more than it is currently, you're going to hate getting into your car because it'll remind you that you blew your stack on something you'd be lucky to get 3/4 of what you initially bought it for.
