There is nothing coded into the project to make it organically act as a BTC hedge, it is entirely dependent on people TREATING it like a BTC coin. Like I mentioned above xbtc actually DROPPED the other day as alts pumped. If you need new money coming in constantly to keep it above the peg, that's a ponzi, not a project. You could peg xbtc to the price of a fucking loaf of bread and it would still function as is.
