Its overrated.
Whores are good at sex and are mentally unhealthy.

Flying first class and paying money to avoid wagies is nice though.

When I make it (minimum 10 billion current usd equivalent of monero), I'm going to buy enough land to start my own country and I will create a citadel. I will use my money to fund the best college every created that will teach people and help us avoid the Great Filter.

yes but proof or larp nigga

I've made it. No I'm not posting proof, believe me or don't. Got lucky, found btc early in 2012 took profits in 2017 and bought in again through DCA during the bear market. Now about 50/50 crypto everything else and am worth just under $3m.

Combination of high salary, low expenses, dca religiously into BTC for years and a bit of shitcoin gambling on the side.

how much have you lost shitcoin gambling lol

Honestly I'm only up a tiny bit on alts. LTC in 2017/2018 was my only huge altcoin win and made me like 500k. Other than that I fomod into eth during the last cycle at like 1000 so just now am breaking into real profit lol.

BTC was really the only thing consistently making me money. And will probably always be my primary crypto holding for that reason. The DCA is key. I would have seen better results with eth if I did the same thing there.

Also in regards to losses I also bought eos and nano so you know I'm not cut out for picking good alts.

where the FUCK did you get the starter money to invest in btc/ altcoins and have a disposable income to gamble to

if it was a corporate job / you went to college
is it miserable and do you hate it?

>> No.26136548

Yeah I hated it so I quit earlier this year. I was a sales engineer at various tech companies so I was making about 250k a year at my peak earnings. I hated sales and was exclusively doing it for the check. Now I want to just dig into my passions and do open source software development.

wtf do i have to learn in college to get into sales engineering
and how long did you do it for to get 250k a year,,

I'll give my two sats

Idk if this is making it yet but I know it's better than a lot of newfags
>first heard of bitcoin in 2013
>heard all the libertarian revolutionary memes, payments system misconceptions etc
>watched the bubble to $1000, Mt.Gox era
>wanted to get in at some point but I was in highschool and didn't figure out how to buy at that time
>watched it go down to $400 till I just straightup forgot about it
>FF Jan 2017
>by chance I see a thread about ethereum on the front page of 4chan, which I almost never go on
>learn how Bitcoin's price broke ATH again
>learn about ethereum
>FOMO in at warp speed on blind faith
>bought like 36 ETH between $40 and $80 as fast as I could learn how to buy, sign up for coinbase, get approved, work out why my bank wouldn't send money to CB, and wait for my money to clear
>set aside $1000 of that intital investment to gamble on shitcoins, made like $200 cause I was always a pussy getting in and out
>cashed out my eth into tether for a $12,000 profit in Jan 2018
Could've done a lot better but I had to learn everything myself
After 2017 I saw pic related chart of bitcoin's price which predicted $10k for the first time down to the MONTH and I immediate began trying to accumulate Bitcoin as if it was already $100k, basically dropped out of college to do so

I was able to get 4 bitcoins over that 3 year period or so, plus some chainlink
Now I'm 24 and I hope to have a half a mil after taxes by the end of this bubble year, which should happen according to my offhand tax calculations if bitcoin hits $160k this year

Computer science degree would certainly help or a lot of experience with DevOps tools. not that many people have the skill set to both use them and also explain what those tools do without smelling strongly of autism. If you are very technical and are good at explaining things and being persuasive just find an entry level sales engineer job.

My first role was for like 55k, in about 7 years it was 250k. But you have to negotiate up to those rates and be willing to jump ship if you're not getting paid what you're worth. You also have to be willing to grind to perform very well above your peers.
