I've been buying rental properties for the last couple years and I've borrowed most of the money for them and charge more rent than the mortgage and taxes and whatever else it costs to keep them. The guy that told me how to do all that said "there's nothing wrong with borrowing money to get rich"
The thing is, most people are too bad with money to even attempt this, and Dave knows it. He treats the idiots that call in exactly how they should be treated: like children
My grandparents are a perfect example. They're in their 80's and they have a mortgage and a car payment. They even inherited their house from my great grandfather, and they still couldn't resist taking out mortgages so they could buy cars they have no business driving.
