Nice I just missed it. Good to see fellow hashchads on biz

Are you a developer?

https://hedera.com/blog/hashgraph-platform-is-now-available-as-open-review

The code is open review. The SDKs & other tools are open source. They don't want it all open source to prevent forking because they are heavily focused on enterprise adoption, and don't want forking so they don't open source it.

Unless you're a SWE, I don't see how that really matters when it comes down to it. We're all here to make gains, so who gives a fuck?

Honestly because I'm really butthurt than they think they can patent "time on a graph." It's something we've been doing for thousands of years. This is how cuneiform works. It's how seals work. I had to trash a project I'd worked on for YEARS because this fucking asshole patented "the idea that you could be using timestamps during this process."

Fucking.

Rude.

I got Hbar. Is it true that it can replace blockchain and make everything blockchain related go to zero?

Btw check out the judges from the upcoming hackathon. Reps from Google, Pfizer, & Paypal. People still building. I only ask because a lot of the people in crypto say "muh not open source", but don't actually program, so they are just regurgitating what they hear elsewhere to confirm their bias.

>>26119265
Wait I am curious about this. Can you elaborate on the project? Why can't you still build using Hedera's HCS? Honestly what is more impressive in my opinion is that these Hedera guys were able to get all these Fortune 500's to sign LLC's to become council members and run on the network. It's more than just a patent, right? It's securing funding, and building the network & ecosystem.

I don't think it would replace BTC or ETH anytime soon. But could be top 10 alongside them in another year or two

Hashgraph is supposed to be the future of distributed ledger technology. Hashgraph, will also be able to solve many of the problems that the blockchain technology has been struggling with as it has a superior data structure.

Because I traded all of my LINK for this last year around this time. I got burned hard and dipped out to get back in LINK at a huge loss.

Bitcoin 2.5 TPS
Ethereum 15 TPS
Visa 1700 TPS (avg) to 4000 TPS (peak)
PayPal 115 TPS
And Hashgraph's promise?
Hashgraph 50,000 TPS - 250,000 TPS

>> No.26120073

Hedera hashgraph could very well be the future! It solves all blockchain scaling and TPS problems..

And in my opinion the closed-source is beneficial! The world-leading jews love that!
