It's pretty important to note that this should only be done on already massive established companies or indices. But even then, if something big happens again (an actual recession) the price might stay under the 200ma for years, even indices. Nasdaq was under the 200ma for 3 years after the dotcom bubble popped, while DOW and S&P was under the 200ma for 2 years during the financial crisis of 07-08. Nowadays for example, the S&P only has to get under 2865 before it breaks the 200ma.. that's only a ~25% dump from where we are today.
So.. there's always a risk that you will just be sitting there for years underwater, but the 200ma is still something compared to simply buying randomly like most people are doing

Is CLF a buy on Tuesday? Or are the steel prices priced in and the peak has passed?

Loaded up on BB on Friday for an average price of 9.50. Probably going to sell off GME when it hits $50 on Tuesday/Wednesday, roll that into a PLTR / CLF split and hold for a couple weeks. Anything else I can put something into as a short term flip in the meantime?

It can be a completely shitty company but if the intrinsic value is worth more than what it's selling for, you'll still make a big profit. In GME's case, they $5/net cash and plenty of assets left including the brand recognition and the MSFT revenue sharing

No, think of the market like a literal 13th century auction house with people shouting prices to buy and sell. If there is more buying pressure the sellers will ask for more and more, if there is more selling pressure, the sellers will be willing accept lower and lower values. The price you see fluctuates every second, just find a ticker with good volume and watch it during trading hours for a few minutes, you’ll see what I mean. The last price the security was sold for becomes the market price for that period of time.

If there are a lot less people participating in the buying selling (low volume) there will be less sellers and less buyers, people won’t be budging on their asks and bids therefore you’ll get a large spread on the prices.

You can put in market orders or limit orders when buying or selling. Market orders will buy or sell your shares whatever bid/ask is available. Limit orders say I'm only buying at this price and not a penny more (or I'm only selling at this price and not a penny less). I recommend using limit orders in most cases when buying or selling.
