It's pretty important to note that this should only be done on already massive established companies or indices. But even then, if something big happens again (an actual recession) the price might stay under the 200ma for years, even indices. Nasdaq was under the 200ma for 3 years after the dotcom bubble popped, while DOW and S&P was under the 200ma for 2 years during the financial crisis of 07-08. Nowadays for example, the S&P only has to get under 2865 before it breaks the 200ma.. that's only a ~25% dump from where we are today.
So.. there's always a risk that you will just be sitting there for years underwater, but the 200ma is still something compared to simply buying randomly like most people are doing

i dont own PLTR lol. I stayed in GME instead of hopping on the PLTR because i didn't like the valuation
who knows? PLTR could get a huge contract that quadruples its revenues over a year, but I'm skeptical and I wouldn't feel safe holding PLTR. I'd rather hold something "boring" like TSM where i can just forget about it for a couple years. PLTR has a lot to prove and i don't think it's something you can just buy and forget you know? You could make a lot of money in the end but it's not worth the effort/stress monitoring it for me

all these new companies could end up like how JMIA first listed. Even Facebook and Chewy went down like -50% from their day 1 peak before they finally ramped up over a year later

from $40, yes

but from single-digits it was basically like a shitty dollar stock that was oversold into penny valuations. It can be a completely shitty company but if the intrinsic value is worth more than what it's selling for, you'll still make a big profit. In GME's case, they $5/net cash and plenty of assets left including the brand recognition and the MSFT revenue sharing

On the other hand, you could hold something essential but not make a lot of profit in the end because the valuations don't make sense. And you should never justify your price targets by comparing it to Tesla lol

I think this will continue going up and once they start selling it will go up crazy over the next few years if they are successful.

It is but I haven't seen anything that makes it stick really outside of that. The only trigger for me was some AI tech they were using that would change the game on interest rates but I don't really like AI. It's real estate in the West, meanwhile BTWN is working on something related to e commerce and digital markets in the SE Asia which a well known Asian investor and Peter Thiel. I have to go with BTWN I guess. The thing that had me with GHIV was the dividend but then I dont' think I will hold it long enough for that. That video made me even more bullish. The only people against it are using the genetically modified aspect of it as a negative. But thats the best part, the fish just keeps growing because its growth hormone is always on. Its not different salmon meat, not a franenfish. Its just a bigger salmon. No, think of the market like a literal 13th century auction house with people shouting prices to buy and sell. If there is more buying pressure the sellers will ask for more and more, if there is more selling pressure, the sellers will be willing accept lower and lower values. The price you see fluctuates every second, just find a ticker with good volume and watch it during trading hours for a few minutes, you’ll see what I mean. The last price the security was sold for becomes the market price for that period of time.

If there are a lot less people participating in the buying selling (low volume) there will be less sellers and less buyers, people won’t be budging on their asks and bids therefore you’ll get a large spread on the prices.

I decided to branch out when GHIV was dipping last week and bought BB instead. I am kind of worried because most SPAC buyers want some crazy hype and a REIT is for steady minded people that generally don't go for SPACs. I foresee a lot of people selling like you do, I actually might get in after the merger if there is a huge dip, and if not I'm ok with missing out. Does it even have a safety net? I noticed GHIV went up from 0, most SPACs start at 10 and you know you can retain that 10 if it fucks up.

>they're basically pocketing the difference? Instead of like, Google ads where the highest bid goes, it goes "oh second bid was 1 dollar lower, we'll make you pay your full bid anyway instead of 99 cent discount"?
You can put in market orders or limit orders when buying or selling. Market orders will buy or sell your shares whatever bid/ask is available. Limit orders say I'm only buying at this price and not a penny more (or I'm only selling at this price and not a penny less). I recommend using limit orders in most cases when buying or selling.

Some people say a man is made outta mud
A poor man's made outta muscle and blood
Muscle and blood and skin and bones
A mind that's a-weak and a back that's strong

You load 16 tons, what do you get?
Another day older and deeper in debt
St. Peter don't you call me, 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store

I was born one mornin' when the sun didn't shine
I picked up my shovel and I walked to the mine
I loaded 16 tons of number nine coal
And the straw boss said, "Well, a-bless my soul"

You load 16 tons, what do you get?
Another day older and deeper in debt
St. Peter don't you call me, 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store

I was born one mornin', it was drizzlin' rain
Fightin' and trouble are my middle name
I was raised in the canebrake by an ol' mama lion
Can't no high toned woman make me walk the line

You load 16 tons, what do you get?
Another day older and deeper in debt
St. Peter don't you call me, 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store

If you see me comin', better step aside
A lotta men didn't, a lotta men died
One fist of iron, the other of steel
If the right one don't get you
Then the left one will

You load 16 tons, what do you get?
Another day older and deeper in debt
St. Peter don't you call me, 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store

What? No it wasn't. Technical hiccups maybe. But not a mess. It was fully functional, which is not what cyberpunk is now. They will need to sink more money into the game to fix it and the final sales will be no where near predictions. China right now is conducting the largest terraforming effort in human history. They are building the "great green wall" in the Gobi desert. Not only that but they are building infrastructure and planting millions of trees in various African countries. I went to South Africa to visit a friend in mid-2019, while I was riding in a taxi from an airport to his house I had a chat with the taxi driver. I asked him about all the construction I was seeing and he simply replied, "China builds those". I asked him to elaborate, bridges, electrical grids, solar farms, etc. He kept pointing things out that were built by China. He even mentioned how they are building schools, office buildings, and hiring people. Now as much as I fucking hate China, this is an investment opportunity. Why oh why would China be so interested in the fucking wasteland of Africa. Minerals, Oil. Would be the first thing that comes to mind but I believe it is deeper than that. I think the CCP has a long term plan to take a majority of Africa and bring them out of the third world. Now you may ask, why. It's so they can turn Africa into an economic battery. The population of Africa is insanely large and is a completely untapped source of consumers. These people live in fucking shithole buildings and don't really buy shit the way we do in other FW countries. So my point is if you wanted to make a bunch of money, buy BABA, NIO and hold. Or if you are ballsy put out an option call far into the future on these companies. They are undervalued.

I've been working on memorizing basic strategy with offline apps to prepare for when the irl tables open again, and then start counting. even without counting, basic strategy will lower the house odds to just 0.5%. is fun to learn.

I mean I'd recommend you to try it first before saying it's shit like no tomorrow desu. Sure, it's buggy and they lied a lot about this game and with shady shit going on in the company. But the characters and the plot are actually decent coming from NV and Baldur Gate player.

Any guesses of what the next big thing might be? Probably safe and sound. Might just YOLO and buy £2k of Tesla shares.

Keep in mind that the US might not have jurisdiction for those lawsuits. And polish judges will laugh them out of court.
Either way, there's 0% chance of winning, it's all just lawyers stuffing their pockets.
