Lots of people will lose their jobs or have their hours cut. Employers will cut back on hiring and focus on automation and improving efficiency - ie cost cutting.

The big corporations will get bigger.

Short Run:
1. Some jobs being paid under $15 will no longer be viable. Businesses will respond by cutting hours, cutting jobs, and/or raising prices to maintain revenue.
2. Some people currently working at or around $15 an hour at harder or less desirable jobs change over to easier jobs that are now the same rate as their shitter jobs.
3. To incentivize retention of valued employees (avoid detriments of Step 2), some business will raise wages for those that were making $15/h previously. This in turn triggers a nasty loop of steps 2 and 3 competing at higher and higher wages.

Conclusion: The most vulnerable people in society are pushed out of work (get fucked). Some businesses, particularly the service industry, are hit hard. People in general are paying for goods and services at an inflated cost relative to before the change.

Long Run:
The market naturally adjusts to optimize around $15/h minimum wages. The use of automation is accelerated, and companies lean heavier on outsourcing (from nations with lower wages) where they can. The top 80% of earners pay the same effective price for domestic goods and services; but currency is devalued, making it more costly to import.

Her belly isn't flat, the lines on her clothing give the illusion of it being flat. Lines have a very distinct characteristic of making things look wider or slimmer depending on their orientation. There's a reason that lingerie looks like an anime protagonist's jockstrap. It's meant to make get people look flattering, but without it you see they're really blobby. Notice how steep the angle of the side straps are, to emphasize her hips and make you think they start where her fat actually starts.

Alternatively:
1. Business owners throw up their hands and say "Well shucks, I guess we'll just do the same work for less revenue!"
2. Qualified people that were already making $15/h don't rush to fill the new, easier $15/h jobs because they have developed class consciousness and do not wish to steal from their less fortunate brothers and sisters.
3. The government prints money to smooth over any short run issues or taxes the wealthy for all of their money beyond what they need for subsistence because long run consequences are for losers and the benign rich folk will not use their tremendous resources to flee the country or bypass progressive (selective) taxation.

The UW team published its first reportlast July on the impact of the first jump in Seattle’s minimum wage, which went in April 2015 from $9.47 to $10 or $11 an hour, depending on business size, benefits and tips.

This latest study from the UW team looks at the effects of both the first and second jumps. The second jump, in January 2016, raised the minimum wage to $10.50 to $13. (The minimum wage has since gone up again, to the current $11 to $15. It goes up again in January to $11.50 to $15.)

The team concluded that the second jump had a far greater impact, boosting pay in low-wage jobs by about 3 percent since 2014 but also resulting in a 9 percent reduction in hours worked in such jobs. That resulted in a 6 percent drop in what employers collectively pay — and what workers earn — for those low-wage jobs.

For an average low-wage worker in Seattle, that translates into a loss of about $125 per month per job.
