Actually, that's kind of not true RE the shitcoin being a bad move. Considering my original plan was to just put £50 into BTC a month and I ended up putting in closer to £500, I'm pretty happy with how it looks overall. The shitcoin pumped and dumped and I managed to get in early and get out at the right(ish) time, and it's almost entirely thanks to that why my investments are now worth closer to £1000. Can't complain I guess.
