a bit of Brave browser hype, the onboarding of mass amounts of boomers in the last week and people noticing the scarcity and finite supply of BAT will make it pop. its one of the most thinly spread crypto's with one of the largest amounts of wallets. its only growing. its not vaporware. the brave team has nil interest in pumping or hyping their crypto, nor holding baseless 'conferences' and spewing technobabble and false promises.

Brave only seems to be growing, and the recent firefox news looks like a pretty big mass exodus that is going to have an immediate and lasting effect. What brave does well is that they make a great product that people enjoy and is highly recommended by others. Firefox tweets are now turning into brave ads, and almost every privacy scandal or big tech scandal is turning into a brave ad. It looks like brave is on track to hit over 100m users by the end of 2022 which is a massive deal. Brave is definitely not a fly on the wall anymore, and theres big money starting to notice what is brewing. I don't know how people are ignoring BAT or writing it off. Its potentially the safest 100x you could find.

not really, they take a percentage of the advertisers costs to run the business and pay wages. what makes them more money is having a greater volume and spread of advertisers, not token prices increasing.

the only reason they would care for inorganic token price increase is if they are holding stacks of BAT themselves personally. and even then, they would rather not have the SEC knock on their doors. I know its hard to comprehend that in the crypto space its a legitimate company.

> Would give a lot more incentive for more to opt in rewards and fund the bullshit they’ve been pushing back for years
False. Users get paid the same amount in USD irrespective of BAT price. The user may get $3 USD per month, whether they earn 3 BAT per month or 0.003 BAT. People are not going to be earning $150 a month if the coin price is $20.

I came from advertising. The industry is one huge fraud bubble. It looks like brave is getting back to the basics and throwing one huge wrench in the plan. Any ad agency worth their salt would be ditching RTB and going back to direct deals or a system like braves NTP or notifications/display ads. Its just one big game of finger pointing to find out who put their hand in the cookie jar. The privacy narrative looked like it took root and is playing out, and now ad fraud is becoming more and more apparent. Just to give you an idea theres over 180k dental offices in the U.S. and lots of them spend $3-8k a month. Thats just dental work and doesnt include other private practices or professional services like lawyers, contractors etc. Google makes its bread and butter by catching the user once they have signaled some form of intent, but it stops at their search query. Yes, that comes out to $1.4B in monthly ad spend. Heres a quick thought experiment. Say I was a billionaire and wanted to be a giga chad. I could go and buy 1.5B BAT tokens for $340m. The network could then run on one token and I would control something like 99.9^14 of the market. At todays ad sale volume I would be earning $1m a month. Not exactly the best investment, but imagine in 6 months from now BAT is at the same price but is now earning $10m a month. Now it starts looking like a really lucrative investment. Drop $300m and get a $10m a month dividend. BAT would pay off the investment in 2 1/2 years. Likely much much quicker. That is a 36% per year ROI. Just imagine Brave pulling $100m in ad spend or even $1B a month. Theres a reason big money has not dumped this token. Trying to get a monopoly on this token could be extremely lucrative.
