I am new and lurking but dropped $100 bux into the market yesterday and now down a bit. Thinking of liquidating and starting out in the Midcap markets while I learn how this actually werks. What do you guys think is a good shitcoin (heh, nothin personal I already know the terminology I'll be posting in your threads soon) for me to start in to recoup the 8 dollars I've lost.

I'm relatively new too, but if there's one thing I've learned, it's that if losing 8$ bothers you, this probably is not a game for you. I've put in about a months wages on different coins, BTC, ETH, XLM, LINK, PNK, LCX, Algo, and a shit coin I won't name that was very like a pump+dump scam. I feel bad about the shitcoin, not understanding the etiquette around here, I shilled it when it was pumping and got banned for 3 days. Was legitimately trying to help fellow anons, but didn't know how these scams work. Learned a lot from the process (Sorry mods - won't happen again). The money I've lost on that coin is not colossal, but it's certainly more than 8$. You need to be comfortable seeing red, and invest in coins that are cheap, safe (if they're on coinbase, you can consider them safe) and not worry about losing something like 8$. Considering everything you put in as lost money actually, so to this end, don't invest anything you can't afford to lose. And play the long game. This advice is somewhat hypocritical as I have turned into an obsessive graph watcher, but an ideal approach would be to set up a direct payment of like $100 a month (depending on what you can afford) into your trusted, favourite coins and then don't even bother looking at them for a year.
