So like I said, the dev also made https://dsd.tools/, which is pretty much the main dashboard for the Dynamic Set Dollar community. A lot of early DSD adopters (read: whales) are flocking to Basis Gold since it's similar to the seigniorage concept of DSD. Instead of being pegged to 1 dollar, a BSG token will be pegged to the price of gold: "Basis Gold is an algorithmic synthetic gold asset with the supply controlled and stabilized by the protocol. One of the only ways that the BSG tokens are distributed (starting in 2 days) is by staking BUILD. There will be only 50 BSG tokens and I think they're going to be in high demand... this is why BUILD is very interesting right now.

Also, a portion of the revenue/fees on every product that'll be built on the build.finance network in the future will be shared with BUILD holders. The relative small supply + the fact that there are no VC's/whales makes this a very interesting long term hold. The Discord is very active and every project has it's own channel... very cool to see and a very helpful community.

The real name of the dev is not known, but like I said, 0xdev0 is not a hack and a well respected DSD community member. I've been on the discord for a long time and this is one of those 'in it for the tech' guys. Also supported by how BUILD was distributed. Recently the community created a proposal to actually reimburse some cost made by 0xdev0. Not only wholesome, but should tell you something about integrity.

0xdev0 is one of the main developers, he has been in the space for a long time and just looking at his comments in discord you know that's someone to rely on. Anyway being a DAO means that all the members can help

Correct. I fully expect Basis Gold to be a catalyst for a lot of other projects. Like I said, it's getting alot of attention from the DSD community. It'll become a source of funding and apart from that an influx to develop for the platform.
