Why is there so much bitcoin being traded on XRP's DEX? The same thing with USD, there was $100,000,000,000 moved on the DEX today. What is going on? Why is there so much money moving through XRP, I thought it was a shitcoin?

My question is why isn't this information being shown on the volume on livecoinwatch? It says there is only a volume of 2.7 B on XRP but there is literally hundreds of billions moving through XRP

because XRP is just the native asset on the XRPLedger XRP is still kinda a shitcoin but the XRPL is the real thing and is 100x more efficient than bitcoin's ledger so people move BTC over the XRPL

Livecoinwatch is not looking at every asset transferred on the XRPLedger, most exchanges directly use the XRPL for transactions though

I looked at the schizo threads and they said something about XRP and the gold standard and there actually isn't a lot of gold being traded on the DEX. These represent a gram of gold and there isn't much movement...

more and more transactions facilitated on ledger

now depending on mass transactions, there must be a tipping point in which it becomes more beneficial to have xrp being a higher price to lower transactions costs further

So over time the more the ledger is used, the bigger the transfers. The bigger the transfers the higher token price theory comes in effect
