The problem with swing trading it knowing when to stop buying back.
Two things can happen that can fuck you off.
-You bought the usual bottom, but the bottom gets deeper, leaving you with bags.
-You sold the top but the top gets higher and because you've become married to your stock you want to buy back in at the higher price to continue swing trading, negating your gains.

I take the other view on BAC, it's more like a smaller Goldman Sachs or Blackstone. Mix public and private equity during a bull market means they have strengths outside of usual business like lending.
