Debtors have to pay their debts in USD, not gold. Because commodity prices are suppressed on the COMEX, it benefits China to keep collecting debts, and hoarding commodities, for as long as possible, before the USD completely breaks down. China and Russia _could_ issue gold-backed currencies tomorrow, and kill the USD in an instant; they have enough reserves to do so (see picture). They will only reveal them at a time which is most opportune for them. As soon as that moment does come, both the dollar and Bitcoin will almost immediately sink to zero; gold will go 10-15x, and silver will go 30-40x.

Every day when you don't realise your gains into gold and silver is a day when they might disappear. Almost everything outside of commodities and commodity stocks is in an unprecedented bubble right now; and, when the dollar dies, all fiat currencies (as well as cryptos) will simply collapse to zero. The dollar could die literally overnight if China issued a gold-backed currency. So whether you want to keep risking everything you have, and keep chasing the bubbles, or whether want to preserve it, is your choice to make.

In the 70s and 80s bull market, gold went 25x, silver went 36x, and mining stocks went 100s of x, and that was simply from the fear of the dollar dying. This time it actually is going to die. Gold and silver have a long way to go. The DGR (Dow Gold ratio) ought to correct from 16:1 to 1:1, or even overshoot 1:2, and the GSR (Gold Silver ratio) should correct from 1:70 to 1:15, as happened in 1980. Mining stocks were also almost never more undervalued than they are right now, and need to double or triple to reach fair value, even at today's metal prices. Many producers are trading at absurd valuations like 4x cash flow or with P. E. ratios of 8.

The info actually used to be easily visible at the Canadian Mint website but was taken down a few years ago, i am sure if dug around you can find the info. The deal was struck with a Swiss company I believe, with a fixed gold price from either 2014 or 2015. All gold that comes into the mint from mines and recycling is sold off this way. I would not be at all surprised if we were selling our gold off too the chinese though, however we just stopped them taking ownership of a gold mine in our arctic so who knows.

I did too, but after a certain amount of time, unrest begins to actually seem like it is weakening the credibility of the establishment in the minds of the people. At first, they thought they might be able to fit it into their narrative and send agents to mix with the protest to steer the stampede against the targets they wanted destroyed, like they did with BLM targeting small businesses and very few corporate targets. DXY isn't really the thing to watch IMO:

https://www.tradingview.com/chart/FRED/DFII10/3ySKeQ8L-Real-bond-yields-drive-gold-and-silver/

Real yields are basically the divining rod for gold price, they tend to be very sensitive to any motion that looks to be changing the yield trend and spike gold down hard at the first whiff of it to pre-empt it. I'm pretty sure real yields are bullshit due to CPI fuckery, but enough wall street boomers still trust the govt numbers so what can ya do.

This is something everybody should keep an eye on IMO. We might get another big bust this year as some have suggested (which could smack yields and gold again) but honestly I think the Fed's thinking the same, and they're gonna go more ham with the printer than the market expects. I expect them to continue their battle to squeeze blood from the stone, too many wealthy and powerful people demanding it.

Lol yep, they actually think bit coins total market cap is going anywhere near gold. It's already at 6% of gold, if it 10x from here that would make it 60% of Gold's market cap which has tens of billions put into it every year by central banks. Not going to happen. But coins value has a constant contango due to the insane ongoing electricity fees for mining and maintaining the ledger. cryptofags just don't get it because crypto is innately worthless, so if price go down you either sell or hold the bags forever. Most coins aren't even worth the cost of the electricity produced to mine them, and the rest are just 'pre-mined' bullshit that is no different in any way to fiat.
On the other hand, PM chads know that silver and gold always has and always will have value (especially while central banks continue to hoard it and cement it as real money, that alone is enough of a reason to consider it a completely different league to crypto) and so a drop in price is actually a wise opportunity to accumulate.

It's sad really, I really like the idea of Bitcoin in principle and I imagine a lot of stackers do too, because ultimately we like the idea of hard money.
Bitcoin could've absolutely achieved its goal of being a decentralised currency if it weren't for a bunch of greed faggots at the top (Adam Back, Blockstream et al) selling their souls for chink dollars. Suddenly Bitcoin is no longer a viable currency but a supposed 'store of value' whose purpose is to never be used, therefore making it not money and not anti-establishment, but something else. It makes me angry just thinking about it.

I read this whole article about the polar vortex collapse https://www.severe-weather.eu/global-weather/polar-vortex-collapse-winter-weather-europe-united-states-2021-fa/
Seems like there's a chance for widespread snow around January 25th in the US. Before that, starting around 19th, it will start getting colder in specific areas of west and east US, but not midwest/central.
Europe will have "beast from the east" phenomenon begin sometime soon and will last a week or two total centered around the January 19th date.

The last two times the polar vortex collapsed and caused a extreme cold were 2004 and 2013. The article indicates that this happened other times but didn't cause extreme cold/snowfall, so who knows what will happen but it appears that the forecast indicates a Dark Winter for US and Europe in accordance with elite plans

Hey, remember that EO Trump signed fucking up any payments that go toward anything remotely connected to Chinese military contractors and making illegal to be invested in any sort of fund or security that had exposure to them? That comes into effect at 9:30AM Jan, 11th, 2021
About 10 hours

Considering how much crypto is Chinese mined (and controlled), is there a real chance of US executive fiat generating pink wojaks?

Somewhat /pmg/ related, the melt value is 5¢, it's not inconceivable this is the new nickel and Americans will be stuck with loonies and toonies eventually.

The design is great, much better than all the state quarters except pic related

these are proper /x/posts but I believe it, so the dates are January, February and November? I'll have to have a look at if there's any big financial milestone coming up in those months. Jan/Feb could obviously be Biden screwing things up but that's to be expected, what about November though? Is that when we come out of the Dark Winter I've heard about and realise it's all screwed? Gimme some reading on Dark Winter please

If I'm not mistaken a Quarter in 1960 would be worth $2.50 in today's money adjusted for inflation, which means today's half dollar is the equivalent of a 1960 Nickel.

That reminds me, I got excited when I found a nickel with an S mint mark the other day. I forgot that just because it was from a proof set, doesn't mean that its silver.

I was thinking of waiting till the price of Ag goes to 20, that's the inflation adjusted average from 1980-present. Certainly the recent double bottom at 16 looks solid. Where can I go to learn more about the crazy market for silver (JPM, etc)?

Copied from another anons post:

You know the spot price which you see on websites like Goldprice or Kitco? That's actually taken from a place called the COMEX, a futures exchange which trades in derivatives. In that market, hundreds of fake, "digital" silver ounces are passed to and fro for every real ounce which truly exists in the vaults. This means that you can dump billions of paper ounces on the market, and crash the price, at any time. The system, however, is like fractional-reserve banking. If enough people took delivery there, the system would immediately collapse. We saw this in the 70s and 80s, when the Hunt Brothers demanded physical delivery, exposed the fraud, and silver reached an inflation-adjusted ATH of $800, at a normal historic GSR of 1:15. The COMEX broke only a couple of years ago in the case of palladium (see chart). It will happen again as the dollar collapses, and there is a run on silver.

The three best places to learn about manipulation are, first, this short video about Andrew Maguire, who is one of the most important people in exposing the fraud:

https://youtu.be/bKLQGJ_GGZk

Secondly, this interview with Craig Hemke, Eric Sprott's friend, who has been watching this for years:

https://youtu.be/9EOPKizJ_Y4

Thirdly, this interview with Bart Chilton, Commissioner at the CFTC, who, in a sort of death-bed confession, exposed the manipulation only weeks before he died:

https://youtu.be/ShZrgZEq1Yo

Finally, this interview with Rob Kientz, an auditor, who explains exactly how the COMEX works and a great deal about its history:

https://youtu.be/KyAopYlD32k

J. P. Morgan was recently fined a billion dollars for silver manipulation, so none of this is to be regarded any longer as a conspiracy theory.

BOOBA / BRAPA schism goes all the way back to hunter gatherer days. If you look at the world wide map the split is correlated with aryan steppe nomad culture and african agrarian culture.
