The one thing the US does well at (technology) is killing the host. I would not want to be invested in anything American right now, other than maybe oil, gas, plastics and other commodities (copper miners, nickel miners, and timber companies).

When the normie thinks of Luxury, they think of fancy imports from Japan and Germany, not unfixable American cars. The electronics on a Tesla are LG, Panasonic and Omron parts. Maybe ABB even. Just own these stocks and forget it. There is also upside on Geely's and JAC autos which will become whitebox car manufacturers. These larger foreign conglomerates will outsource the hard work of building the vehicle body and the rest of the work of fitting batteries, motors and inverters will be done in these countries. TSLA is just a story that everyone believes, but the aforementioned companies will be making the actual money.

TSLA is going to be a victim of rob, replicate and replace strategy that will continue into the Biden adminstration, and the average American consoomer is not going to care. They will buy the cheaper XPeng, Li or NIO unless Tesla inevitably outsources everything to China or India.
