It's investment in Elon. Once Boomers and those who read 'the intelligent investor' understand this, the better. Elon is currently involved in the current projects:

- Tesla; electric cars and renewable energy at scale
- Solar City; low-cost energy for households and commercial buildings
- Neuralink; extension of the brain via an embedded device. This will first solve mental disabilities, then physical and then extend human intelligence.
- OpenAI; racing ahead to create the first AGI in an ethical way. GPT-3 and DALL-E being their two latest releases, which many people thought were years off.
- Starlink; this will go public once it's operating at full capacity. It will likely bring in $50bn + in revenue per year, which will be diverted into SpaceX.
- SpaceX; probably the most important company on the planet. It's clear humans are going to wipe each other out sooner or later through wokery. Getting a settlement on Mars is important to the survival of the race. At scale, there will be over 1000 Starships in use (eventually), costing around $2m per launch (around 500x cheaper than a NASA rocket).

You can currently only invest in Tesla.

This is what happens when retail plebs are allowed to speculate. You unironically shouldn't be allowed to own less than 1% of a company.

Almost the entirety of the public equity market is just a ponzi scheme. Tesla is case in point. Every single purchaser is only purchasing with the intent or hope that the stock will soon be priced higher than what they paid for it. Thats it. Theres no hope or ambition of seeing some sort of dividend payment, because guess what, they hardly make any fucking money.

Speculators just want to make money. They have no idea about value.

Good news is, the FED wont be ramping down quantative easing any time soon. So you can expect to see your stock keep going up in price. It could honestly 10x from here to $8,800. The question is, what will $8,800 actually be worth?

retard confirmed.

This is the Hayabusa2. It was built by Japans best and brightest over the course of 4 years.
It was launched in 2014 to collect 5.4 grams of surface dust from extreme near earth asteroid 162173 Ryugu.
Hayabusa2 returned to earth on december 6th 2020.

The cost to bring 5.4 grams of surface dust from an asteroid that is so close it's basically licking the earth was $179 000 000.
That's $33 150 000 per gram.

The distance from earth to 162173 Ryugu is 95 400 km.
The distance from earth to Psyche 16 (believed to contain gold) is 278 653 850 km.

It took Hayabusa2 4 years to take and deliver samples from 162173 Ryugu --- Psyche 16 is 2920 times further from the earth.

It would take 17 520 years for Hayabusa2 ($179m) to deliver 5.2 grams of gold from Psyche 16 to earth.

Have fun with your asteroid mining, anon!

If you can't see how Tesla will dominate the car industry in the future, and other industries as well, and the future potential that could bring (branching out into other avenues) you aren't good at investing at all anon

On top of that Elon is a fucking star of a CEO dominating other industries as well such as space-exploration (beating Jeff Bezos in this regard), alternative energy, neural R&D, urban-city infrastructure, I'm sure I've forgotten a successful venture of his

Tesla will almost definitely become what Ford was to America in the 1950, but to the world and much bigger than that so whatever Ford's valuation was in the 1950s Tesla has the potential, and big likelihood to be that and even larger (given infrastructure and all the other shit around it)

Its valuation is correct. Only thing capping it compared to say Apple's 2,5T valuation is that it's still a few years away
Think of Tesla right now like Apple in 2010. The potential was there but a trillion dollar valuation was still a few years ahead. Buffet still didn't invest until like 2016 but everyone knew that Apple was to dominate the phone market for a long long time

It won't it is not a space exploration company
If it does via something like satellites and the likes Elon will open that up to other companies as well, like he's done with Tesla's charging stations and such because it solidifies that company's hold and makes it harder for competition (why start your own satellite-company when SpaceX's letting you lease their stuff for the fraction of the cost?)

They think they’re the smartest guy in the room and TSLA keeps zooming along.

Everybody knows TSLA is overvalued you fucking dolts. Elon Musk himself has tweeted it. But the stock keeps going up and you keep losing out on free money.

You can keep repeating your obvious facts and keep crying about how overvalued it is. In this short term window, you’ve lost the battle and you’ve hundreds of thousands of potential dollars (assuming you’re not a poorfag). So keep repeating your obvious dumb platitudes to keep yourself feeling better about losing out on TSLA, retards. It’s the most embarrassing cope. You see this type of shit with Bitcoin too. The US is known to make the worst cars. Why is TSLA any different? In fact their consumer reviews are awful. They have quality problems because they're using Good Ol' US manufacturing.

https://www.consumeraffairs.com/automotive/tesla_motors.html?page=2#sort=top_reviews&filter=none

The one thing the US does well at (technology) is killing the host. I would not want to be invested in anything American right now, other than maybe oil, gas, plastics and other commodities (copper miners, nickel miners, and timber companies).

When the normie thinks of Luxury, they think of fancy imports from Japan and Germany, not unfixable American cars. The electronics on a Tesla are LG, Panasonic and Omron parts. Maybe ABB even. Just own these stocks and forget it. There is also upside on Geely's and JAC autos which will become whitebox car manufacturers. These larger foreign conglomerates will outsource the hard work of building the vehicle body and the rest of the work of fitting batteries, motors and inverters will be done in these countries. TSLA is just a story that everyone believes, but the aforementioned companies will be making the actual money.

TSLA is going to be a victim of rob, replicate and replace strategy that will continue into the Biden adminstration, and the average American consoomer is not going to care. They will buy the cheaper XPeng, Li or NIO unless Tesla inevitably outsources everything to China or India.
