Native assets are going live In mid February

https://iohk.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/900004708343-Announcement-of-upcoming-changes-to-Cardano-network

Mary hard fork - February 2021
The second hard fork Mary is due to be delivered in the middle of February 2021.

This hard fork will require an upgrade of all core integration components. It will also introduce breaking changes to all Cardano APIs. This will require code changes to your exchange systems to adjust to the new APIs and accommodate the introduction of native tokens.

As with the aforementioned hard fork, we will notify you when the testnet and updated components are available along with more detail on native assets.

We will provide more detailed instructions closer to the time regarding the best upgrade process and also instructions on how to list new native assets.
Note: We strongly recommend all exchanges currently listing ada prepare to upgrade to the version of Cardano that supports Goguen and Smart contracts (when available) to avoid any outage, downtime, or disruption

just sold my 5 eth into BUSD.

I will evaluate today before making an entry into ADA.

Question - anyone know the best way to start staking? and the projected gains? any real examples from anons?

Man I love how you spin this like it's a good thing, ignoring how pathetic it really is

> wooooaaaaahhhh it's getting smart contracts after 5 fucking years

Gotta love how you spergs have been regurgitating rubbish about the amazing tech

woaaah it takes time to do something properly I know it is annoying to wait

stay with your instant noodle code on Efferium then.

Yeah I kinda fomo'd in, don't have the patience to accumulate slowly. I think this has a good chance to rise significantly this bullrun.

Staking is real easy, just download the daedalus wallet and delegate to a pool. Theres a site called adablockpools which lists them all, but honestly I don't quite understand the technicals they list there. I just go on youtube and stake with people who seem passionate - try kaizencrypto or astra.

I think you can expect 5-8% per year (someone please correct me on that)

I'm not him. Been buying ADA since 2017. Staked on ITN as well. Delegating 1/3 to >>25737735, other 2/3 to ANP and FAY.

you can also stake on the yoroi wallet, its a browser extension, very easy, one of the most easy i ever used. i didnt even need to use any tutorials to get started with staking it was that straightforward , clear and easy

Feel free to make me look like an idiot by explaining what exactly makes their implementation so special that they needed 5 years.

I'll wait.

>>25738105
Are you fucking dumb? Durr how long did it take the literal creator of the technology to implement it

Holy cope, that comparison is so dumb.

A more accurate comparison is how long did it's competitors take? Hmm, let's see... Woah?! Nearly every single one of them launched with smart contracts from day one??? Wtf bros? How is that possible? It's almost like some other project did all the heacy lifting earlier and paved the way so that it was much easier to do now..

Thanks for waiting, was busy administering the /bizpool/. Ticker is 4CHAN if I did not mention it already. WAAGTMI.

>what took them so long/what makes it better
- peer reviewed research that even the competition uses (i.e. Polka and eth2, provided the latter will ever release)
- functional code (Haskell) is a whole different level of sanitation. You eliminate whole classes of bugs.
- You can have automated provers show that your code implements *exactly* what the papers do. There is a video on youtube but am too busy now to look it up. DYOR
