It's easy, you don't need to have a 24/7 device, that's all done by the stake pool operators on your behalf. You just need to download keep your ada on either the Daedalus or yoroi wallets rather than the exchange. From there you delegate to a stake pool.

No it will not happen instantly for a variety of reasons, lots of eth is locked up for eg. But over time and with new projects, why would you pick eth?

Cardano will have defi, smart contracts and is wprking bringing defi to africa where millions of people don't even have a bank account. Cardano's structure and coding is superior to anything else out there right now - that being said, it doesn't mean it will be the most successful though.
