If you are not in teaching some IT junior positions or corporate ones will hire you. $250k is not enough to retire if you want to live in a city but you will spend $1000-$1200 monthly for a flat, food and commute

I have seen this shit coming here in the states for years and have been planning accordingly. I will be leaving this summer to enroll in a bachelors program abroad and have spent the meantime learning two of their national languages and fulfilling all other prerequisites to get accepted. I plan to then do masters and then doctorate, and by then I’ll be qualified to become a citizen.
You should have seen this coming sooner but it is still not to late, It will probably take another year or two before we are in full civil war mode.
