It's disgusting either way. It's not your responsibility to pay for your parent's shit. That's their responsibility. Yes, you should help take care of them in old age, if they were good parents, but it's humiliating to expect your children to pay your bills.

I sold ETH at around $800 because of family telling me I should. Then they tried implying they had influence in my gains and proceeded to try demanding that I get them a car. Seeing it rise knowing I would have made it - that's a deep pain. Honestly close to kms because of it.

I not only missed the recent ETH high, which would have made me enough to cover my debts - but I also have now Fomo'd back into ETH at seemingly the top and have had it drop on me since, so I don't even get the benefit of gains. I'm now almost below my original investment.

If family had not FUD'd me then I'd have sold ETH at $1250 and made it. Instead I'm now below my original investment and want to kms, riding out ETH to the end now. Either I make it or lose everything, nothing matters. Not giving Family a cent.

Lesson Learned:
> Never let family learn of your crypto
> Never listen to family for investment advice

Yeah I know, it's never the kid's responsibility to pay for their parents, but it is a distressing feeling watching your ain't-shit mom who never planned for the future, never worked consistently in her life, and leeched off of her own parents until they died get thrown into poverty as she enters old age. This is about to be the most bitter pill you're ever going to swallow in your life. If you came here from the site in pic related, you are genetically pre-disposed to be a cucked normie for life. You are literally retarded. Don't think we haven't noticed you asking stupid questions, trying to use our lingo, and pretending to be one of us. Why are you doing it? I can't say for sure, but you probably heard somewhere on your faggity site that this place is good for finding investing advice and crypto moonshots. You couldn't be more mistaken. The truth is, this place is filled with scammers, niggers, street shitting pajeets, and autists.

The reason why the people that naturally gravitate to 4chan succeed is because we are unironically autistic and see the world in a completely different frame than you. You come here and no matter how hard you try to fit in, you stick out like a sore thumb because your future is already written on the wall. You will be a slave to your government, corporations, and bosses for the rest of your pathetic existence. You will live under a guise of happiness, but ultimately die having done nothing even remotely significant in your life.

You will hang around here for a couple weeks, probably lose money gambling on shitcoins, and then run back to the comfort of your faggy home, where you will warn other plebbitors to avoid this place: how we are all retarded, gamblers, racist, and misogynistic. You will collect your upvotes for the warning, and then jerk off to the thought of feeling important, not having realized you failed the most basic of internet shittests.

You will read this post, flame me for the direct confrontation of challenging your intelligence. The reality is you aren't, and never will capable of coming up with an original thought in your pathetic existence. Any words you speak are the equivalent of a sheep going

this is fine if they are well off and aren't running a business/in debt. that money is basically just delaying the inevitable and is giant waste of money. if they had regular jobs it's not bad because now they can save that money up and possibly pay back the son or buy another home and give the other home to their son etc. this is just plain retarded though, don't ever do this guys, not even as a last resort.

Brought my dad in on this in 2017 and have been managing a joint portfolio for the "family" present and future. Its already mid 7 figures and I believe on the cusp of generational wealth to secure a future for many generations to come. My father can secure his retirement and take part in a patrimony for generations of his offspring. Perhaps the greatest gift a father with his son can bequeath to our posterity.

Gains for the sake of gains is a potent if fleeting high. We must never forget why men build empires in the first place. First we secure a future for ourselves so that we might secure a future for our families. After that an extension of filial and patrial love leads us to protect and nurture our people and eventually our culture. I have spent much of my time contemplating the absurdity or perhaps irony of rejecting the current ethos of modernity using internet monopoly money as my vehicle. Truly God has a sense of humor lads.

This here, I agree. I think it's against most human intuition to just hold and hold and hold something that can positively change you and your families circumstances in the long-term, but if you held multiple of something like Bitcoin it only makes sense to at least save like 10-20% of it just in case.
