They will do a blow off top to liquidate shorts, then when realization of how every historical resistance was artificially surpassed with fake money confidence in the market is fucked. I was considering buying some but whole thing looks fucking BAD.

NYAG and CFTC.
Not exactly a nothingburger. Remember the date all exchanges have agreed on to delist XRP.

yeah it is the other way around, tether knows they are about to be assraped by the feds so they are exit scamming. People like Paulo are the fall guy. The people behind the scenes are hiding the fat stacks they just made and covering their tracks right now

Let me spell this out for you again:
Tether doesn't matter.
BTCUSD and BTCUSDT are two discrete pairs.
It will only effect Ethereum.
Hedge with other stablecoins.

can you please briefly explain to me how it will affect ethereum? just honestly asking, I wan't to know better

>> No.25655922

Bitfinex/Tether is buying BTC at $0.

>>25655471
>BTCUSD and BTCUSDT are two discrete pairs.
They're not. Arbs and algos mean they are treated equally. What you see on exchanges is the USDT price, not USD.

>> No.25656163

>>25655670
Tether is on Ethereum. For USDT and BTC to interact, there has to be an inter-chain intermediary or a sidechain. The value would evaporate on Ethereum first. If it causes any ripples in BTC, it will happen after USDT goes to zero and ETH has it's collapse. People were buying and selling BTC with USD prior to USDT showing up, and most exchanges now have multiple stablecoins or their own regulated stablecoins.
>>25655922
You're retarded. Equal weight arbitrage doesn't change the fact that both Binance and Kraken recognized them as two different pairs, and they have liquidity for BTCUSD to back it up. You can verify this on tradingview in 10 seconds flat.
