transfer your othercoins that you got for free to either BTC, ETH, or LINK. Keep GRT and XLM if you want or transfer them, completely up to you.

Once you're able to withdraw/ transfer funds to other account, use coinbase pro. you can use the same account bc it's the same platform, only difference is coinbase pro doesn't have the same funds that you had in coinbase so you'd have to completely move all your funds.

Have this as well as $450 Canadian in bitcoin being transfered to my account.

Appreciate the advice and advice on coinbase vs pro and if there's anything I should buy into. Have a little more $ I can throw at it also.

dont buy eth, eth is old and not scalable, buy one of the prominent eth killer specifically AVAX which is new and the best tech currently, dont ever buy ADA it's old, washed up and slow, partnering with niggers and employs trannies. AVAX hasn't had any real history in the market and will spike hard, hold for a year or so, I am so confident in it that I am 80% in. Buy it on Binance. Good luck.

Stupid question that doesn't deserve its own thread from a likewise newbie in crypto.
I'm using crypto.com and invested €125 to get their Ruby Visa (2% expenses back as CRO) which is now worth €156, plus €135 in BTC which is now worth €232 (that's better than my stock portfolio in just a few days, Jesus).
Any tips on how I should move from here? Should I buy a ledger for 0.0076 BTC or should I just keep buying and keep them on crypto.com?

>> No.25638511

>>25638463
all you really need is a hard drive with your keys on it, on a machine which has never had a net connection. an old laptop is fine for that. i've installed one after the other, 5 different hard drives and used an old laptop to install o.s and generate wallets. backing up on like 15 usb sticks too is also a good idea. just be absolutely certain that none of these is ever connected to a machine with a net connection. if laptop fails, just stick hard drive in another machine and retrieve keys.

>> No.25638514

>>25638463
Absolutely not. If you aren't retarded with your tech you can keep it somewhere safe and only bring it out when necessary, and always do diagnostics to make sure no parts are on their way to failure.

And if you REALLY want to be safe you can do automatic backups in the same place you're keeping it in via external. You'll have to end up doing this anyway if it ends up dying in a few years and you need to clone it to a new system. Some people even use tablets for this, although they're too flimsy and cheap for my taste.

>isn't the ledger more secure "physically"?
less secure in every way. you're one malicious chip away from getting rekt. now there are trillion of dollars up for grabs, you'd better believe that an employee at one of these factories will one day turn rogue and disappear with your coins. can't happen on an old laptop.
