25624599 No.25624599 [Reply] [Original]

I'm holding 10.71 BTC and I'm a NEET. Only 24 years old. I bought BTC with my minimum wage wagecuck savings from when I was working in 12th grade in 2015. I don't know what to do. Is this the top? I'm getting a really strong sense of euphoria, but I haven't even dared thinking about selling until I hit the 100k+ mark. I have 400k... I could buy a home now where I live. My mind is spinning, this is fucking insane. My gut is telling me 100k is really going to happen though..

Thank you, I talked to my dad about it and I really think it's the smart decision. It just hurts to take out 50-100k and see a little over 2.5 btc gone... If this really turns out to be the next generational store of wealth, I'll be haunted even looking at my house, but this recent pump is going up way to fast. I was considering it. I moved 5 BTC to coinbase pro and seeing it near 200k USD with 1 click of the sell button is soul crushing. I can't believe it's real. I guess holding this long, it's easy to forget that this is real wealth, but damn I'm torn. I really don't want to sell yet. These fake outs are brutal too, it could trigger my stop loss and keep going. I just can't believe BTC is literally having 4K+ daily candles now. It's surreal.

But one that you believe will have value in the future and that you can also rent out to generate cash. Use the the rent to pay off the the rest of the mortgage. Keep your other bitcoin..for now. I actually don't believe in bitcoin in the long run. I am Peter Schiff retard, but that's me. Bitcoin probably will break 50k, I'll be fairly surprised if it breaks 100k, but anything can happen. But like some have said here. Take profit and use it to buy something REAL and TANGIBLE. Selling your BTC to put towards a solid house that will still generate cash from rent isn't a stupid idea.

lol don't buy a house. It's 99.9999% certainty that you are buying into one of the most overvalued asset bubbles. It's literally worse than buying BTC right now, it will just take more people down with it when it blows, and it's going to take a bit longer. Capture enough profits to last a couple years, set some sell targets on the road to 100k. Selling 10% at 50k, 10% at 60k, that kind of thing. Leave enough for moonshots. Buy back in on the retraces and when the bubble pops. Most people let their paper gains end where they began: on paper. Take profits. If you want, grow some balls and actively trade if you want to stay in the game, you'll have the money for it. Keep at least half your BTC for the long run.

I mean, if you don't need 50-100k in cash right now, don't sell any of it. You're 24, just chill at your parents house and eat their food, and focus your energy on other stuff

memes aside i don't understand this
take out $100k, you pay 30% in taxes
now you have $70k in the bank. either you don't qualify for neetbux anymore or it is at least slashed as a result
invest $70k even 100% APR in the traditional market and you make a measly 700 bucks per year
with the way taxes and the entitlement system works, there's literally no point of cashing out before you can cash out at least a full million

>>25628519
yep this is me as well
i'm taking profits in the form of converting crypto to stablecoins the higher we go, but that's mostly to buy the dip after the inevitable crash in weeks/days
i want nothing more than to invest in the stock market for a passive 4% per year, but buying at current valuation is suicide-tier

Never
Idk how else to explain this but you currently control more wealth than your brain is capable of fathoming
You're looking at something in the neighborhood of several trillion dollars if you keep it and wait for every dollar to be consumed by the righteous fire that is btc in runaway hyperinflation

Yeah I am, it completely changed my life. Honestly it still baffles me years later that it happened that way. Definitely recommend getting a high end accountant though when you go to cash out that amount of money. There's still a lot of gray area in crypto that a skilled one will exploit, don't go for the one's that just wants to be as conservative as possible.

two? bro you’re jacked under no circumstances do you ever convert that crypto to fiat
do you understand?
>crypto to fiat?
no

no

because btc represents the total potential energy of the planet and you have a piece of a pie so big it’s beyond human comprehension

>> No.25636906

>>25624599
If I were you I'd sell a little, probably like 5-10% of it or so. That's enough to improve your life in a real way, but not so much so that if BTC moons for the rest of our lives you won't regret it. There's not a big difference between having 90 million and 100 million dollars, but there's a big difference between having 0 dollars and 40k, especially as a young neet.

Yeah I more than understand that. The two isn't even for profiting, it was the hedge for when / if crypto becomes synonymous with money.

ANON. Don't be fucking dumb, take some profits. Right now, sell a couple BTC and buy 100 acres in the woods in a temperate climate (preferably near the border, up north- PNW for instance is prime weather year-round for survival. Make sure you get some water rights, a well, or a river etc. thats on your land. You'll want to keep some cash for the tax yearly.

This is euphoria, this is not real life. Even if BTC does go to 200k-1m, you will still be filthy stinking rich. But if it crashes, if we get fuckjng solar flared, if BTC gets glowed the fuck out and regulated to fuck. , you've got somewhere to go. Thank me later.

Looking back on it that deal or no deal shit was torture. There were so many fake outs on the way to 20k that reaffirmed "having iron hands" and it seemed like it was only there for a blink of an eye. It started to rise so fast you had no idea if it was a dead cat bounce or if it was going to go to 40k the next week.
